What happened?

I hired Rose and I fed the cows over an hour ago. I came back to collect the milk as I have a derby task that requires 85 milk to be collected. I came back and found Rose had already collected the milk, but it didn’t go towards my derby task and it also didn’t register in my roadside sale - but it registered when I would create a dairy product. Example, when I go to put milk for sale on my roadside shop, it says I only have 9 milks. When I go to make cheese, butter or sour cream, it says I have 15 milks, but for my derby task, it didn’t contribute any milks.

Hi and welcome to the forums. Rose can be a bit tricky to figure out, but when you have her hired and are doing a derby task at the same time, it is necessary to change the quantities you want her to collect and store to zero. As far as her storage of the goods, the easiest way to find it is to tap on a box in your RSS, you will see 3 tabs to the left. One is for crops stored in the Silo, one is for goods you produce in your Barn, and the bottom tab are for the goods that Rose and Ernest have made. You can choose to sell off their goods to keep them working during your time.

I am going to as that your question be moved to General Discussion, as this is not a Bug. It it more likely that others will see it and help you, should you have more questions about managing the helpers.

Hi. What I do with my helper is if I do a collect milk/ bacon /wool etc I put the item I'm collecting to zero in the quantities box.
If I do a feed animals task I go to rose's settings and set it to the middle one. "Keep extra feed ,do not feed all animals.

Also the things that Rose and Ernest do, do not count towards derby tasks.
If you’re doing a derby task for collecting or feeding you have to go to their tab and adjust how they work. Once the derby task is complete remember to change them back.

On Rose and Erbest’s menu you will find a sprocket on the top left corner. Looks like the settings icon in the main game.
