Should I upgrade my TH to Level 9?

Okay first of all sorry for this post as I know you see ones like this every day!
I know my base is not very close to maxed but my clan leader and other members of my clan are all urging e to upgrade to TH9 within he next week! The reason I want to do this is becuase my current clan is upping requirements to Level 6 Archers in a month and I would like to stay a part of it!
I have also been told that point defenses are not that important for a farming base and as long as my Splash defences are maxed then I should be good to go!
Please don't just reply saying Always Max your base and nothing else and please give me some ideas of which things ARE vital to max or if I should just take the leap now! I am good farmer with 200m+ Gold grab so take that into consideration when answering!

It's really up to you, what you could do is stay in the clan and max and when the requirements kick in, leave the clan until you get the archers. It would be wise to stay and max, even if the clan ups it's requirements. As I said before, it is really up to you.

First of all. Your clan is NOT nice when forcing their players to upgrade the th premature, seriously? Might consider leaving?

And second, go to th9 and farm walls. :)

They aren't forcing me to upgrade my TH! :) They just want me to stay in the clan instead of the other thing which would be to leave to go to one of our two soon to be 3 feeders! The Centum Family Rules! Should I got to TH9 to farm walls like you?

It's rude IMO to raise the reqs and kick the members which are already in. Nvm :)

Wait, Centurae is telling you to go preemie?

I would at the bear minimum finish your walls if you are gonna go early (I understand your current design doesn't rely on those purple walls, but at th9 you will need a new design).

Your splash looks good, but given the fact that you have walls to do and you are sitting on 5 inactive builders I would probably just wait it out man. No need for you to rush to th9. You can't be that far from maxing so if you need to drop down a clan for a couple weeks it shouldn't be too bad.

**disregard the part about inactive builders. I saw you mentioned it in your OP and I assume it is due to the push just ending.
