I have lower level friends and followers. I will put up deeds, etc for them to find. I had (note had) a farm friend that is way higher level than myself clean out my unadvertised shop. I went to theirs and saw that they had posted them at a marked up price. This wasn't the first time that this happened with this farm. I asked myself do they reciprocate with boat helps (if you're on my friend list I help - even the jam and blanket boats). The answer I came up with is can't ever recall them helping my farm. I bought the items back then I unfriended them.
I know that sometimes if it's a great shop that I'll get cleaned out, however it's nice if everyone gets a chance to get something.
On a lighter note my 76 year old mother plays and she's definitely one of my worst shop raiders. I was putting up bolts for my baby farm and she snagged them before I could pick up my other device. Had to tell her that I'd alert her if there's extra supplies that are ones she'd like, and that I was doing a transfer.
