Nothing wrong with hogs. Had two hog attacks since the lastest update. 1 that three stared me and 1 that one stared me. Ive also used hogs to attack twice. 1 time I one stared them and 1 time I two stared them. It is skill and the base they are attacking. No longer an OP troop.
i find that hogs are pretty balanced after the second nerf. They are a good troop but you can't have an ensured win by just using hogs. I think a troop is OPed when you can get a pretty much guaranteed win using only that troop and hogs aren't like that anymore for good bases.
Have any of those people complaining tried to actually defend against hogs?
you guys need to put in mind they do cost a serious amount of DE to make a strong hogs army so they need to do a serious damage to a base they attack to justify the cost
I think hogs now are pretty balanced. they need skill to win a maxed base that is designed to be anti-hog base
Any of you complaining about hogs should post their base layout and may be a video to at least show us why they think they are over powered
Let the hogs return to the same strength they were just remove the targeting of defenses as a priority. They are too fast and strong and nothing slows them down but if they took away the defense targeting like they originally were intended that would even the changes back out. i see everyones point as too being too much and just right. i did not like their cost at first compared to what you got for use but they made them better. A giant, and Balloons go after defenses, but dragons and Pekkas go after what is in front of them. With power comes a flaw. i will say the discussion does give me a great idea though. What if they make spell traps? Allow you to set a lighting spell or freeze spell as a trap? Well that is my two cents. Carry on and Clash away!
I think the change to make them target defences was a good one, and made them usable. BUT you are right that SC overpowered them in doing that. Other defence attacker (giants and balloons) are very slow, but Hogs have lightning speed.
They just need a slow down, and perhaps XBows made to prefer bacon. That balances out the Hogs targeting defences change.
hog riders still overpowerd..? oh come on...
they got nerfed and you have all these cool traps to upgrade.
2 maxed giants bombs can kill a lvl5 hog rider. That's devestating for a swarm of hog riders if they land on some giant bombs.
Curious as to what the OP's level and current trophy count is?
I'm in masters and 20-30 level 5 Hogs get destroyed pretty quick up here now.
Any more nerfing and the hog will become obsolete. I know a lot of members would instantly stop using them.
The game needs to be balanced across the board. Not just for lower levels.
