Already planning yet?

Since SC treated us this week with sneak peeks of the fab soon-to-be-here update with its two, possibly three, new machines and 10+ new products, who is already planning where it will go?

I know I've been staring at my acreage all day (well, in between loading boats and filling orders) trying to decide where to fit things in. :confused:

Will you remodel only a little or do a fresh farm overhaul?

Are you a drop-it-wherever or an each-in-its-own-place type?

As for myself, I'm definitely in the latter category, at least as far as HD goes. I guess because my real world house is such a chaotic zoo of kids, grandkids, pets, and hubby's stuff that by keeping my farm organized it's the only place I feel I have control!:rolleyes:

I will have some difficulty making room for new machines. I was able to find a place for the soup maker, but several more will be tricky. I'm sure I will figure it out, though, and having new products to make will be interesting. I am really ready for the winter theme!

I'm a neat and tidy bloke by nature, and like yourself, everything will have it's own place... Don't know where those places will be yet...!!! lol. My machines tend to be in slow or quick production rows, my fruit, veg, and crops are segregated into their own areas... It took me at least 20 different layouts to achieve what it's at now... Left handers have to layout differently... lol. Anyway, you know what my place looks like, you could probably advise me...??? hehe.

I'm trying to figure out where everything will go!! I've got no room! :cool: I could probably put some stuff next to the goats and horses if I sort that area out and get rid of some bushes. Or maybe next to my soup kitchen lol...decisions decisions!

Really can't wait until we get the update!!

I too have been trying to work out where I will be putting things. Very glad I decided to stop at 6 horses, 6 dogs and 3 cats! Not sure yet exactly how I will organise things......thinking.

Same here. Definitely a neat freak, so am sure it will drive me crazy enough to want to do a complete overhaul. Have been wanting to do that anyway, so will prolly wait for the new machines AND winter decor. Actually am really looking forward to it!:D

Just to keep things on the right path, this thread is for spilling the beans on whether you plan on doing a little or a lot of remodeling now that the update has arrived. Any other comments you want to share about likes, dislikes, bugs or what have you should be posted in the linked thread Kolonistje1 provided. :)

I was anticipating a major redo immediately after the update, but since I've got a few more levels to go before unlocking the new goodies, I will have ample time to plan and rearrange, a good thing in the long view since I'll also have time to build up the bank account before buying!

So who's already stuffing gnomes into storage and evicting frogs from ponds to make room?;)

First remodel done... Got the new machines in and running, got my rice and lettuce planted... (We really should have got more crop land/spaces...) had to chop down quite a large patch of coffee bushes though... Never mind, just have to jiggle things round a bit... lol.

We were wondering where the red would come from for the new scarves, now we know it's the strawberries... Hehe.

Oooooh it's agony to know I've got to wait 6 more levels to get all the new machines!! Oh, well, just adds that extra incentive!! I'd love to pop over and see ogle them when you get them unwrapped, but we're not neighbors, John.:(
