TH6 Advice for Upgrades and attacks

Hi guys

Im a newish player and im wondering if some people can help me out a bit

I just hit TH6.

Ive already completed building brand new available buildings, and upgraded them a bit

Now the longer upgrades for all buildings are next

I know to probably upgrade mortors and wiz towers next

But, should I just do 1 of these at a time and focus on something else because I dont want all my builders upgrading my mortor and wiz towers then id have no defense

SO apart from AOE splash defense buildings. What should be next in priority order?

And for attacking, is there a all round good make up of troops? im trying to just farm resources, and ive been usually going for:
10 level 3 giants
40 level 3 archers
35 level 3 gobs
3 level 2 bombers

Are all your army camps maxed? If not that is a priority. And always keep your lab busy.

Putting splash defenses are a priority is smart, you got that much right.

Yes i forgot to mention im also working on doing my army camps, currently I have 1/3 camps maxed and one is being worked on as we speak. Also keeping my lab busy like you said

I have 5 builders, so I can do a few things at a time, I decided to invest in gems and just bought the 5 builders huts

I will always try to upgrade 1-2 mortars, 1-2 wiz tower, camps and one cannon or archer tower. So that I still have an acceptable level of defense.

I'm at maxed TH6 and am 10 trophies away from Crystal 1. Army composition is generally 14 level 3 giants, 4 level 3 goblins sent out to trigger traps, 4 level 3 wall breakers which usually aren't used but do come in handy when needed and the balance in level 3 archers.

You can either go sub 1800 trophy range and farm away or push for crystal and snipe away at exposed town halls and get resources through selective exposed collectors with your archers and loot bonus.

With generally no loot penalty and usually bonuses based on the opponents you face I would recommend not upgrading beyond 1 day max on your collectors for now. Get army camp max upgraded a priority and make sure to have the laboratory working always with priority on maxing archers before giants first.

Concentrate on at max 2 defensive building upgrades to not put your base in as much jeopardy.

Defenses don't make much of a difference in high gold and up trophy leagues as the opponents you face are bringing too many higher level troops into raids.

The benefit of going for crystal league is a big boost in gems which will help you to unlock the 4th builder faster.

I successfully use the giant-healer-archer at th6. 1 healer-6 giants in my camps and 4 in clan castle-and the rest archers. Hers a th6 base that worked really well for me.
