Welcome to the forums, this idea has been suggested and although it would be nice to have more communication this would be abused in so many ways

Stickies are threads found at the top of a sub-forum. You must read the stickies before posting in a sub-forum. Violation of the forum rules can get you an infraction or warning from the moderators
Um guys, can someone quote the sticky that has ruled out instant messaging? Because I don’t see it.
That being said, as I posted in the other thread started yesterday about this exact thing, this idea has been posted numerous times. Please do a search and you will see discussions about why (I believe) this idea will never be implemented.
