Speculating about New Updates

Ok. There are many good speculations as a response to each News posted by SC, so I thought of putting them all together here. Please feel free to add. If there is a new News, I will edit this.

Sushi Hut/Bar/Sha-ck. Four products related to this, soy sauce and three sushi/roll. Now, the speculation is whether we will get rice and/or seaweed as new crops. Someone mentioned that maybe the chopsticks could be a new product. But I do not believe so since we do not make the plates/baskets/bowls for our other food products.

Salad bar. Three salads, olive oil, and mayo. Speculations: White cubes in one of the salads, are they tofu or chesee? If cheese, will it be the goat cheese or are we making new feta cheese? Second speculation, olive trees (for olive oil and the olives in the salad). Some say, that it could be kiwifruits. Third speculation, a new green-leafy crop for salads (lettuce, spinach?).

A possible third machine? To press the olive oil and soy sauce. Some have pointed out that the salad bar has like a small machine next to it on the right-hand side. Could it be the new press?

A red scarf. The speculation is whether we are getting a fifth crop for the red dye.

Last but not least, the strawberry jam. No speculations there.

To conclude, so far the picture shows 11 new products and for sure two more buildings/machines. Speculations: Three machines or two? As for crops: rice, seaweed, spinach/lettuce, olive trees/kiwifruits, crop for red dye? Feta cheese, tofu, or the old goat cheese?

All I know for sure is that I need BEMs and SEMs...and possibly LEMs. All this work coming ahead :o. Just in time to pass the holidays :)...

I'm still hoping for a new dessert/sweet (other than another jam). <sniff sniff!> I know, there's no evidence of such, but hope springs eternal and maybe it'll be a SURPRISE!!!

And a new fruit tree/bush. <hoping hoping hoping>

I did read on a comment on the hayday facebook page someone asked will there be new production machines and hayday replied saying there would be 3. I also hope there will be a new fruit tree and I'm still hoping for rabbits to add to the farm but I don't think that will come any time soon. I'm only level 42 so I don't know if I will be able to buy the new machines I'm guessing you will need to be a higher level but who knows I guess we have to wait and see. I just really am hoping that we will be able to open a bit more land even at my level there isn't loads of space especially with fruit and berry trees and decorations not that I have lots. I'm saving my coins up for when I level up to get the lobster pool, soup kitchen and for the new winter theme decorations. I hope there will be christmas trees and lots of decorations to buy, I love winter and this is my first hayday christmas so I have no idea what to expect in terms of the winter decorations.
I hope the update comes soon.

I really hope they expand our land. If they want us to add three new machines AND have decorated farms, we need more room.

It was me with rice and seaweed but if we will get only two new crops, I will change my mind and say rice and lettuce.

As for the olives, which business do kiwifruits have on a Greek salad?

The machine on the side of the salad bar cannot be an olive press, giving the lettuce and tomatoes into a press, makes a mess, not Greek salad :-) I think we got fooled. There will be a salad bar and an olive/soy press, not both in one as the picture suggests.

Mayo will be made in the dairy, it needs olive oil, eggs and usually lemon. But as we make tomatoe soup with goat cheese, I wouldnt be surprised to see mayo beingmade with oil and eggs only. Its a game lol.

Sushi bar is out of question I think, you did not mention the discussion about fish or lobster only as ingredients.

edit: and you did not mention that land expansion for fishing area looks more possible than ever.

I think it's also a fair possibility we will make olive oil and soy sauce in the already existing Juice Press.

So! I'll be stockpiling: soy beans, tomatoes, fish, lobsters, strawberries, wool, and goat's cheese.

And for good measure I'm going to build up stock on my jams and wooly items since I will be using those machines for new goodies come update time.

What ridiculous preparations are the rest of you making? :cool:

A third machine has then been confirmed by SC. I wonder if they will provide a hint about it. Although with all the speculations, it could be the press for soy sauce and the olive oil. But as CheddarLimbo mentioned, those could be produced in the Juice Press. Hmmm....more to ponder.

Land/fishing expansion is indeed a high possibility and probability. We'll need new space for all these new machines and crops.

I have no idea how I'm really going to prepare for this next update...my barn is about to explode and I still need 13 planks to upgrade. I have been trying to make/keep 8 of each item, but even without hitting that mark with all items, I'm having a tough time with the lack of current barn capacity, so I guess in order to make/keep the new items, I will have to cut it down to 4 or 5 of each item and hope for the best.

I think I need to finally get that 3rd and final pen of sheep, though, if I want to have enough wool to make the 3 existing items and the new scarf, too!

Can someone please call those men in the little white coats...think I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to do/have everything needed on my farm...but it IS a fun crazy!! :D

Yeah. I am already experiencing anxiety trying to figure out where to put the new machines and how to fit all the new stuff they will produce in my inadequately endowed barn. No matter how much I expand it, that barn remains too small! When I first started, I made a list of everything that could go in the barn, and how many I would need for orders and others, and made a barn size gaol. I was excited to think about the time in the game when i would finally be finished upgrading my barn and i could delight shoppers by selling all the BEMs i get. Hah. Passed that goal long ago and still scurrying to make that barn work!

For the love of a challenge, it will be interesting.

Knitgal, you may want to rethink buying that new sheep pen, as we are going to need lots of room apparently. I will sell you all the wool you need. Cheap. :D
