Any you elected not to purchase? Why?
I could hardly wait to get all available items.
Obviously, this doesn't apply to you if you are missing items due to level restrictions.

No. I am a Hay Day completionist :P.
I'm not sure if I instantly got ALL the animals available (Maybe I waited a while until I had more coins or something), and I definitely took a while to upgrade my lobster pool and duck salon, but I have it all.
I don't have all the pets yet, though.
I have all of everything, including opening all slots on buildings (except couple slots left on each of the smelters) and net maker. Only have 4 slots open on lure maker. All town buildings upgraded in full, but not train (can pick up 4). Now that they have changed it so you can go from town to town, i might work on that.
On my main farm, I purchased every building, though I did have some regrets and delayed the hat maker for several months. I hide my sewing machine behind my barn in the unusable upper corner. As well I hide others, especially the candy machine!
i did not buy any horses or donkeys... don’t like them
i still have one puppy and dog to buy... don’t know why :p
on my second farm, I did not buy the candy maker, jewelry maker, only got one smelter (recently), sushi maker and I did not open the duck salon.
why? Hindsight :smirk:
oh! And my daughter bought a sheep pen and decided she did not want anymore sheep, so it is still empty out of respect for her XD
I have everything apart from 6 chickens and four goats. I have never felt I needed them and I don’t like the goats.
GymGirl, what do you do if you get goat task? Obviously you wouldn't take that task but in MD and future MD?
Thanks
I was opted out this derby. I am not sure but at this stage I still have no intention of buying any more of either.
I don’t like the goats either and will not buy them. What did I do when I got goats milk for a mystery task? I trashed it lol.
I find HayDay the perfect game to play, as there is no right or wrong way to play. As well there are many reasons that people play. For some it’s relaxation and others it’s a challenge to get ‘everything’ or a certain amount of coin.
Each one of us develops our game differently. I found it quite fun to find out many of the ‘secrets’ on my own. It was the excitement of mining and getting diamonds, too. Or dropping the first mystery net, and getting the much coveted pearl.
And while it is interesting to learn about how/why other players manage their farm, I feel it’s a personal choice, that doesn’t need to be scrutinized by others.
I find it most interesting to learn how other farms operate. I never realized so many dislike goats.
I think if I could get by with fewer of any of the farm animals, it'd be the chickens. Eggs are readily available.
It's equally interesting to learn how they cope without a specific machine or animal.
My fear was always not finding what I needed if I didn't have all of the items available.
Fwiw, I don't consider this topic scrutinization. It's no dif' than discussing derby tasks, point value of tasks, number of tasks done, derby level, etc., etc. no one has to reply if they feel the info is to "private" to discuss.
During the course of MD the topic of not having certain items was discussed. We even heard of one person pulling a town task yet he had no town.
