Is Hay Day getting a little off topic?
I grew up on a farm. That is why I was drawn to this game. Loved the gardening, animals, etc, and I loved the accessories that could be acquired - the wells, a picnic table, the tractor, the wind mill, etc. I could overlook some not so farm type items like a jewelry and a coffee kiosk. It just added a little something more to do. THEN came the big toothless Jolly Green Giant statue followed by the horrible million dollar plus gold movie related statues (what does that possibly have to do with a farm???). THEN came lobster tanks (a farm of a different type maybe but not a country farm). Now here comes sushi and a salad bar. Really!?!?! This has gone from the ridiculous to the sublime. I think they are stretching to come up with new ideas and they are drifting too far from the original theme of the game. Plus it seems to make the game feel a little more scattered or something. It was a farm with various mills and little animals. Then we added a fishing area that is totally separate and has taken on a life of its own. Now sushi and salads and all that goes with that. What does that have to do with a farm?? I hate to say it but all this abstract silliness is making me less interested in the game not MORE interested. Am I alone on this?? Also aren't we getting to the point that we can't keep adding production buildings unless they increase our farm space? Upper levels with all the buildings, crop fields and some decorations are getting pretty packed. No more space. It has to end somewhere. I don't think that just giving us more stuff to make helps the quality if the game. I only make about half of what I'm capable of making now. Thoughts?
