But, if you want to go the legit way, BAM is the best option for you.
Barracks 1&2: barbarians.
barracks 3&4: archers.
Dark barracks: both minions.

Go all Dragons, Healer/Giant armies or Balloons. Hunt DE and gold, upgrade Hogs in lab.
Then drop cups and use all Hog armies on easyish bases (avoid using spells) and upgrade Elixir troops in lab.... Juggle between the two, depending on what you want to upgrade....
Once elixir upgrades are done, you will be able to afford to buy expensive and epic elixir armies, spam spells and smash bases. It's a fun way to play!
I was struggling to keep my resources. I could raid a lot and then lose them all in raids. My suggestion would be to drop to a lower trophy range and redesign your base as a farming base. Look on Google for great example of farming bases. My current base has yet to be 3 starred.
5 giants, 5 wb, 60 archers, 80 gobs. You dont always use all the giants or wb. They are just in case you want to break into a storage or two. You can get a lot of loot using around 40 archers and 40 of the gobs. Pretty much half army.
Thank you all for your army composition. I will try them all. But I realized that for each army, there are type of base that will work well. Please also give me suggestion for the farming army you use and the type of base that will work well for your army. Thankyou, I appreciate your input.
I farm at 1200 with 30barbs/goblins 60 archers 12 giants 10 WBs and send in waves
I have been trying to work with the BAM army. I like it because it is fast to train about 13.5 minutes. Even with a botch raid, you can still end up winning gold, elixir and dark elixir.
The main problem I see is with searching for the correct bases to attack. Does anyone have good key points I should look for when searching for the bases? Thank you.
Full collectors / empty storages, lots of tombstones are a nice bonus, as is lack of Leagues badge. Collectors outside of the base or in the outermost layer, splash far away from collectors / low level splash, easily lurable heroes and / or CC, just in case any of these are up and working/active.
