Farming Strategy:
I am TH8 LV86. I do not have much time to raid. Up until now, I can keep all 4 of my workers busy all the time, but now I have hard time to raid 2.5M to upgrade my archer towns. My playing schedule is such that I get to play about 10 minutes every hours. I average about 5-6 raids a day. Seem to me that when I am not playing, all my gain is lost from being attack. Does anyone have a good farming strategy that can help me out. Thank you.
Drop to around 1550-1700 and farm there, that's where I find most of the innactives.
I use either 200 archers or half archers half goblins.

The quickest way is definitely gemming. But not every player can afford gemming all the way till u max everything.
if not the quickest farming strategy would be BAM. The army composition would be 70 archer / barb + 30 minion . If u spread evenly, u need 13 min for barracks, 11 mins for Dark barracks. Which is the fastest training army composition that alloy u to farm 4 time an hour. But i dint use this army composition because i need to save my dark elixir for my barb king and lab upgrades. So i use 23 archers/barbs + 2 wallbreaker per barracks which cost 20mins to train.
its up to ur priority to choose ur army composition.
i farm 4.5m gold everyday btw and i am currently doing lvl8 walls which is 9 walls everyday.
good luck farming , and i would suggest trophy range at 1700-1900 which is gold II-I.
With 5-6 raids a day, you will struggle to make much more than one million gold from raiding, unless you get lucky and come across several 300-500k bases. If you only manage to play around 10 min every hour, your best bet is probably to go to around gold 1 and train a giant/healer army packed with archers, some wizards and 10-15 goblins and barbs. Might stick in a few minions, to get rid of BK. With this army you will be able to take down a wide range of different bases, as long as you search for ones with poor / semi-exposed air defenses. Decent number of inactives up there, and being TH8 you still get a decent loot bonus from TH10s, and barely get any penalty when attacking TH7s.
But altogether, you probably need at least 10-15 raids per day to get the gold you want, and even then it takes a bit of luck (finding bases with enough gold). Best of luck!
P.S. Balloons/minions or all-drag armies will probably do the work as well, if you're aiming to do casual raids with ~1h armies.
Hi mate, I'd raid with half armies and take out inactive bases, just take out the mines. Look for bases with 150k gold +showing and all builders sleeping and send in barbs, archers and goblins with minions for the walled mines. You will be able to squeeze in 2 raids every 10 mins that way possibly 3. Try and lose one raid and win 2 to maintain trophies and farm around 1250 for weaker inactive bases. If you get lucky and find a 300k base then it's possible to gain 500k in 10 mins raiding. I'd expect on average around 300k every 10 mins which would give you 1.8 mill. Not quite what you need but with a bit of luck you might get there.

If elixir is not an issue, you could try giant, healer and wizards, but that has the disadvantage of taking time. Anyway, you could probably get in one attack per hour, and rage spells included, you could probably KO most bases. I don't get attacked once an hour, but maybe twice or thrice a day. This tactic should let you collect gold fairly quickly. I recommend upgrading wizards and giants for this.
