I believe the second war for many people is a mismatched with us getting big disadvantage 17 vs 23 th11 and 12 vs 14 eagle, so many times it is only perceived mismatch
Hi all,
a second secure win !! Congrats to all, we've never made back to back wins in this event before
Next war already matched, and ClashCaller will be out soon !
After that please be ready to hop clan, for the following friendly war we will have to split up between Forum Events and forum fleapit.
As for now, here are the current standings :D

please keep in mind we have a number of fillers to make up for a 50:50 war, these are listed here but are not really participating.
Have Fun

This is a good question Tull, Jay hit an equivalent TH as his second attack (had already been 3 starred) and 3 starred it, he gets zero for new stars, but shouldn't he have gotten 1 for the 3 star and 1 for an equivalent TH 3 star hit? That's how I read the rules and that's what I've been telling people. If this is not the intent, then u should make the point system wording clearer to reflect this. And let me know so I don't keep mis informing everyone :p
If the point system is intended not to give any more points out for hitting an already 3 starred base, then th9/10's that have no available bases left to gain points from have no purpose other than to snipe a TH or get 50% just for the loot bonous...seems a bit odd to me, but if this is the way it is, that's cool, just need to know which it is, so at least I know what I'm talking about
Thanks!
Had to re-read OP because I believed it said somewhere that bonus points are only for the first three star on a base....couldn't find it, so edited the post and added it now.
The scoring system is meant to reflect by points how much a player is contributing to the clan's overall war performance - logically a three star on a base that has no more stars to yield is pretty useless towards winning the war, ergo no points. BUT you're war general hoak, and I support all your desicions 100% and will in this case add the 2 points you said jay would get.
(same for not getting points reduction for cave's attack btw.)
Concerning the mentioned situation, that there could be no bases left.....this has (sadly) not happened before and is (I think) pretty much a rare occasion. Thinking about it now, I'd say that in this case the early attackers get the points, the late attckers have to hit up or snipe for loot because: early attacks, espescially from lower down the map, help winning the war by making visible sooner where the attackers higher up on the map will have to hit - therefore, the earlier attackers help more and have a benefit by doing so and it is good that way.
So what about time zones? It is very unlikely that every single first hit get's three stars, therefore there will be bases left for every player no matter which time zone, together with the 12h rule and the war search moving down the clock from war to war, I think, the different time zones have equal opportunities overall.

Thanks for the update Tull, lots of TH9 6 packs last war, the only thing separating them is whether you were lucky enough to hit 2 fresh targets or on cleanup duty.
Personally I’ve found the time zones have really caused me problems this week. Due to me being at work at the start of each war I seem to have spent more time watching the clash caller timers expire so I can select a target than actually planning attacks LOL. I think for next year I will book some time off work so this won’t be an issue for me next time.
Also, can we just make sure everyone understands the rules this war, a couple of examples from our last war:
No double fresh hits early in the war (we are all short of time, this is not a valid excuse to take someones target)
No dipping early in the war for cleanup attacks, I couldn’t do my TH9 2nd attack because there were no targets available (TH10 had dipped to clean the only available TH9 cleanup within first 4hrs)
Good luck everyone for round 3, looks like this will be our most challenging war to date given the enemy’s recent star and % record.

I managed to sneak a small android tablet under my desk this afternoon at work! This has allowed me to scout and call my first 2 attacks in clash caller at the start of the war (TH9+TH11) so I'm now a happy bunny  I'll be home from work in a couple of hours
I have no excuses now as I've managed to call 2 bases I'm comfortable with, just need to get up at 5am for my second attacks

This is good good Tull. The wording makes perfect sense now, and the reasoning behind it makes perfect sense to me as well  The sooner people get their attacks in, especially th9's, the easier it is to figure out what the top half need to do to win, makes my job so much easier :p
Haha, good one TB. And regarding your comment about 10's dipping early for clean up, there doesn't seem to be anything to say u can't do that. It's just the way it is I think, those that are able to get on first, will always have the choicest options to choose from. And from my perspective, and especially in this war where we'll probably need a few th10 dips, better some can get in earlier so less chance of running out of attacks later. Or something like that :) Anyways, that's just my view on it. Hopefully it doesn't cause too much of an issue.
