Nevermind Tull, I have found the source of my confusion. The "1" in the win column was throwing me off. "1"=2 Points! Got it now! Sorry for any of your time wasted.

Fun tournament, and I for one appreciate the ongoing clarification on points. It is not an easy job for the co ordinating team and I have hugs for each and every one of you! (Mainly Tull but I am trying to be all inclusive here hehe).
Loving our little bottom dwellers, I have to say it's the cutest bunch of TH8s I have seen in a long time  Next year I may be brave enough to bring the big girl in. (And when i say brave I acutally mean 'if the bar is stocked I can scrape a good one star scout with my 10' lol)
Scoring points is subjective and should be done by defense weights rather than town halls.
I think the way it should be done is to evaluate how many points each base will be worth before battle day. Since there are .5 bases then points should go in .5 increments too.
Low TH9 weight 3 points for a TH9, max weight Th9 3.5 points.
Low weight TH10 (no infernos but higher than a max TH9) 3 points
Max or near max TH10 (with infernos) is 3.5 points
TH11 is a little tricky since you have both infernos and eagle and if the opponent has lvl 1 eagle, infernos, but the rest of defense is lower than TH10 levels, it is actually weaker than a fully max TH11 with no eagle or infernos.
Another odd base type you may come across from time to time is a 9.11 with max point defense but no xbows, infernos or eagle, while these bases would weigh in the TH9 range, they would score the same as a TH10 with no infernos.
If you can hammer out the scoring system properly then I'll join in.
The scoring system is what I keep an eye on most of all.
I have thought through it many times and adjusted when necessary. e.g. at first a successfull defence scored 2 points, it's now down to 1.
Also things are changeing in game, there was no Th11 the first two FWH events, now IT's were nerfed and engineering has gone through the roof since last time we held this event.
What I find, however, is that in the passed and also in the current standings it shows that every Th lvl has a chance to come up at the top. And that is imo the best proof of the system being pretty well balanced.
Have Fun

Scoring is what it is, personally, not a big deal, just wanted to take part, see the big beasts attack, etc.
Tull is being as fair as is possible in the hideously complicated world of engineered bases, cut him a bit of slack, trust he is making the best of a tough job, and come enjoy the fun!
i backed up your poor poor poor with a quadruple poor lol. Shocker! Someones going to have to dip, oops. Edit: nice clean! Yay
And yes! Its a good thing! Wasn't on much today, hoping to be around more tomorrow. Learning alot from the epic team up the map. Some mighty attacks!
Hey MJ,
The scoring system is what it is in my view. It is my first time in FWH event, and I didn't join for the scoring, more for the fun and social aspect to be in a full active clan. Many good folks to meet and have fun warring with.
Scoring is the cherry on the cake, but the cake is the best part :)
That put on the side, where it belongs; the planning, attacking and scoring of engineered targets is really difficult, and I do not envy Tull's and all others work to make it as fair as possible to all in all these aspects.
On to war #3

Hi all congrats on a second win !!!!
This was a good time to be a Th9, they were really favoured this time around :D
Scoring is near as done and will be posted soon,
we still need an MVP. As this time there was no Th 11 sixpack, I'd say MVP should go to a playewr who'se base drew a lot of attacks and who got a nice lot of stars on offence.
That would narrow the choice down to Paribodh and $$$Rak$$$.
Have Fun
