Clarification Concerning Engies, New Rule To Points System
Hi all,
last war gave us first hand experience and this is how I believe it is fair to handle the cases at hand:
Say a Th10 attacks and engeneered Th11 or Th10 (or a Th 11 attacks a 10.5, or.... you know what is meant)
The question is, how to be fair on points.
A Th10 three starring a full 10 recieves at max 5 points
(one point for each new star earned + 1 bonus point for 3 stars and +1 another bonus point for own Th lvl)
wheras a 10 gaining three stars on a 9 would at max only recieve 3 points
(one point for each new star earned +1 bonus point for 3 stars no extra bonus point but -1 point for hitting 1 lvl down)
now an engeneered Th10 will not have ITs and is therefore lesser than a full 10, but at the same time, if that base has more and higher leveled defences than a Th9 it is stronger than a full Th9
therefore
such a base will be considered a Th9+
and such a base whenattacked by a Th10 will offer at max 4 points
(one point for every new star earned +1 bonus point for 3 stars, no extra bonus point and also no substraction either)
TLDR:
At example Th9 attacking
a Th10.... max points 5 for three starring
a Th 9 .... max points 5 for three starring
a Th 8 .... max points 3 for three starring
and now new
a Th 8+... max points 4 for three starring
Which bases are considered a "+" base will be posted in a clan mail and will be visible in Cash Caller.
One last thing: Certain areas of the war map are (for first attacks and fresh hits only) reserved for certain Th lvls, this does not mean, that these bases will also give the full 5 points when three starred, the "+" bases within that area will only yield 4 points at max, and hitting a level up will not bring any extra points, (exeption: strategical hitting up Th10 vs Th11 only if necessary for the win and at war generals express call).
Have Fun
