HD is waaay better than CoC so u can't compare the two :)
We're talking about making virtual popcorn, dairy products, sugar, etc on an imaginary farm...that's some serious business right there :D

That's a pretty good outlook considering it's only your third post. At least you have been swatting up a bit before making those comments - good for you and that alone deserves credit.
What you have to bear in mind is that yes, it is just a game, but for a lot of people it really is a way of life for them (for reasons you cannot comprehend, no disrespect) for whatever reason(s). It's their escape from the troubles that surround them on a daily basis... I have seen people quit both the game and this forum because they were so distraught and upset, and that annoys me, but on the other hand there are people who would give you everything that is possible to give to help and support, and that is why this is such a great place to be...
It it can be hilarious at times, as well as more serious also, but stick around for another six month or so, and see if your original comments would still be the same...??
John.
It is only a game...But you still have to respect people as people and how they play the game. Me, like others, put things in the RSS because we need coin. It makes me no never mind if one person buys everything or multiple people buy up everything. I don't care who buys what...Just buy it!
However, my attitude may change once I reach a higher level, attained all my machines and have reached a comfortable barn storage. I may want new farmers to have a chance at the goodies as I have had a chance to attain goodies at such "No Raid" farms. It just depends on if you look at the glass half empty or half full.
you are so right Bob, (just kidding John). Getting serious for a minute here (don't worry it won't last). There's a lot of stuff going on in my life now. Some of you know about it and it is about as serious as life can get. I watch TV ads for drugs that profess to cure all sorts of really insignificant ailments. Yes, I know they are serious to the person with it but when they read the side effects or possible adverse reactions that are way worse than the original ailment, it is all I can do to not yell at the TV and tell these people how lucky they are. But I digress.
This Game is much more than a game to me. It is an escape into the world of the ridiculous; of chickens in snorkels and pigs in saunas, of ghosts on a lake and candy machines that make lollipops. It is strange and funny and impossible and fun and as you said full of some of the most fabulous people I've ever met.
When I play this silly game, I can forget the real world of X-rays, and cat scans, of needles and IV's and lab tests and biopsies and bucket lists. And of course all the bills that go along with them. So when people get all bent out of shape over whose buying what for how much, and how long the poor animals have to suffer in their costumes or how awful it is to get yet another topiary from their FREE spin at the wheel, I just want to invite them into my real world for a while, and say, "Hey look, it's not so bad on that imaginary farm, let's go back there" Yes it is just a game. But it is so much more than that and when people get petty, I try really hard to remember that if the disappointment they face in this game is the worse thing that can happen to them, they are truly lucky indeed.
I have had people message me asking if they have done something wrong by buying too many items or filling all the boat crates or reviving too many trees and I hate to think of someone quitting before they can find the sweet spot of make believe and fantasy at the precise moment they need it in their life as I have. They have done nothing wrong because if the game allows it, then it is right. And if they can get lazy Tom to wake up a little earlier, and run just a little faster or jump just a little higher, even if only in their own minds, then so be it. Have fun people.
Well, said, Tiggerr!!
