How to use the search feature

More often than not, it seems someone is having complications finding forum information they seek.

Here are a few tips to eliminate the traditional Eye-D-Ten-Tee error as well as the short circuit between the keyboard and the chair.

#1 Start your search in the proper place.
Unless you're certain of the location for what you seek, start your search from the topmost forum for Hay Day. Otherwise, start from one of the sub-forums.

#2 Advanced search has more features.
This is my preference. The search can be refined to thread titles among many other things, including the provision of user names. The proper keyword(s) make all the difference.

I know a few others use search as much as or even more than I, so please chime in with your tips as well.

Great job, Holidae! Thanx for putting this together for us! I'm going to stick it in general for just a while to give it the exposure it deserves..even though it is an off topic thread. It's just noteworthy enough to allow the exception. :)

Just one question. Have you ever tried searching for information on Tom. I haven't in a long time because I have gotten to know the little tyke. Yes he's a lazy son of a gun, but heck, he smiles a lot.

I am pretty computer savvy, but trying to find info on him is a conundrum. his name is just too short. I suggest we change it. Not sure what I would call him though. but Christopher Robin has a nice ring to it

Christopher Robin on a farm...!!! Tom, Tom, the farmers son is more apt...?? lol.
