When I tap on my frogs, they hop away a bit as the dogs and cats move away when I tap them. Maybe you can "tap" them into moving off the road. Then maybe they'll be enticed by the pond.

I am constantly using my small pond to tidy up the frog population. I had one that got in my driveway that was driving me nuts. Eventually he left, but I have no idea where he went or how. Maybe he hitched a ride on the truck!
My daughter said once they are in the pond to try and put a fence around the pond.
I have a number of ponds of varying sizes scattered around my farm and by lane way. I rarely see frogs out but when I do they are not long hopping into the pond. Even those coming from the river don't go anywhere just jump back into the river. Would be worth a try for you. One pond may not be enough incentive for them
What I find more annoying than the frogs are the cats and dogs guarding the tool boxes. I have two friends who have filled every space on their farms with stuff, so that the tool boxes are always in the road either in front of, or just behind the truck. I spend a lot of time going back and forth from one to the other trying to pick the locks on these tool boxes, but the dogs and cats just won't leave me alone. I've tried bringing bacon and milk with me but they guard these boxes with their lives. If the frogs start hopping all over the boxes, I may just have to track down that little girl with the axes and ....well it won't be pretty that's for sure.
