regrets?

I think my only real regret is buying all 5 smelters and opening too many slots in their queues. Three smelters (one for each type of metal) and two slots each would have been enough. And opening too many slots in a couple of the other machines, the grill being one, the loom being another, but the loom slots were mostly accidental diamond-losing swipes. Other than that, no regrets here!

I regret using my one "free Tom" so early in the game. If I had waited until I had the mine open and used him to buy shovels, I could have gotten more free diamonds from the mine.

This is something that bothers me. I wish there was a way to see info about the person asking to be a friend. You just have to 'accept' sight unseen and hope you chose well. So far so good but there will likely one that will be a bummer in the future

No regrets at all. I've made some silly mistakes, but it's a game...it takes me away from reality and I enjoy that. And this raiding ♥♥♥♥, what does it even mean??

I only have one regret which is to do with the items to upgrade our barn and silo. When I first started playing I seem to come across items like nails, bolts, tape very easily so I would sell them for money so I could save up for the production machines and animals not realising the importance of upgrading the barn and silo but now they are so hard to come by, as I started levelling up I realised how quickly my silo and barn would fill up and how hard those items are to find, now I'm on level 42 with a barn of 525 and I know I would have a much bigger barn and silo space if I hadn't kept selling off my materials. I keep using diamonds to make up for the missing items to up upgrade my barn because it's always full although now I have opened all my land and fishing areas I no longer keep land expansion items so I have a bit of free space.

Buying all the smelters. 2 or 3 tops would have been plenty. Not knowing default/max price. Oh the bolts I sold at 75 coin!!

There are no set rules ( on your farm) on what you can or can't do. Theres loads of advice from fantastic farmers on this forum, but at the end of the day it's up to you. We all have our own quirky ways of farming .

Ive never regretted anything I've done on my farm or in my life ! No wait , farm/ life , same thing :cool: lol

JUST HAVE FUN

Nothing ro regret except for having cut down too many of the native trees. I thought in the beginning that one might get a reward or so for having cleared all land... Blowed both ponds up by accident actually, wanted to keep them.

If I was to start all over again, I'd love to go for the challenge not cutting ANY of the native trees. I wonder if one could still place all machines and animals?

You can still do both if you really want to. Save the very first slot to the left for advertising and sell something basic like a stack of wheat for 1 coin, it'll sell witin seconds and end that ad circle. Keep doing that as often you can while there is no "special items/goodies" you'd like to save for nbrs only. That way, the person buying the wheat will probably just grab it quickly without following you since they didn't see anything else interesting for sale.
