regrets?

I agree with Ecko and Gymgirl....I definitely wish I had found this forum when I first started playing...there is just sooo much information shared on the forum it would have made my starting out easier....TT2 & 3 would have been easier at lower levels and I wish I still had some of the original trees....the fall leaves are so pretty.

I did regret cutting down the native trees when I saw all those pretty and creative farms that still had them but I honestly was dying for more space and now I grow orchards on that side and I'm satisfied with my farm design so I'm over it now. But those trees across the river!! Omg, I'm still so annoyed. It was so pretty before but I thought I could grow some fruit trees there so I chopped them down... Now it just looks so empty onthat side and each time I look at it, I get sad :(

Me too, although I have kept my trees across the river.

I regret losing diamonds due to having no confirmation before accidentally hitting a speed up

I have no regrets with regard to how I have played the game. I mean I got to level 64 so I must be doing something right.

I do have one regret tho... But it's about joining this forum. Even though I am very very very happy to be apart of this community, I know that if I never joined this forum that I would of stayed blissfully ignorant of the whole "raiding" debate. And I could go shopping and not feel an ounce of guilt if I buy more than 2-3 premium items.

My sister & Mom both play and are not part of this forum and have no clue about the "raiding" issue because, like me, they don't really pay attention to farm banners or prices. They see something they want and they buy it. Also, they have no clue that it is totally a social faux pas to ask for help on sugar and dairy boats.

Oh how I envy their ignorance.

- I, too, regret not leaving some original trees, stones, pond, etc.
- I regret buying a second chicken coop and goat pen, and the third pig and sheep pens. But I do NOT regret the third cow pen. Would love to have all that space back!
- I regret opening 8 slots on my barbecue!!
- I regret not doing the advertising achievement earlier, before it was more important to sell only to my neighbors.

I regret waiting so long to open the mine. I missed out on a lot of free diamonds by doing that.

I regret using my one "free Tom" so early in the game. If I had waited until I had the mine open and used him to buy shovels, I could have gotten more free diamonds from the mine.

I regret that a few of the people I "friended" through the forum turned out to be weirdos. I am not totally sure how to avoid this going forward, but I probably should have avoided people who seemed particularly argumentative or highly opinionated.

That said, as soon as I've got a fair amount (what I consider to be fair - not squillions like in the other thread), I need to buy a machine and I'm wiped out again!
