im currently a th8 and i've upgraded pretty everything other than the walls and research. Im about to upgrade my th to level 9 and im not sure who i should build after TH9 finishes. i have 5 builders. Let's assume that my storages are completely full and i have 5 free builders, what do you think i should build/upgrade first?

Wouldn't you want to buy two x-bows/ new lab and use left over exlier on lvl 6 barbs? That was my plan

Upgrade walls then your dark exlier/storages.
Lab always first regardless to what anyone says, and if you have left over gems, use it on the lab. The lab is technically is a 6th builder if you think about it. Just think of it as a builder stuck inside there who can only upgrade your spells.
I would say to do your DE drills so that you can start producing 200 of your own Dark Elixir each hour. After that, upgrade your new, existing tower to catch up with the others. The new wizard tower, archer tower, hidden tesla, and air defense. Have the other builder on the xbox.
Depending on the troops you are going to raid with, you may need to build the new elixir storage before one of the upgrades I listed above so that you can hold more elixir (Archer cost like 7,500,000 to upgrade)
Update: Obviously, if you have enough DE at anytime to upgrade AQ/BK, throw your DE into them before someone steals it.
The first thing I did was both Xbows, the lab, and the spell factory.
I also got the AQ, and then saved up elixir until I had enough for level 6 archers.
Archer Queen (instant build), dual xbows, lab, elixir storage, new defensive building.
If you DE storage is full, then you can upgrade to level 2 Archer Queen right away (no build time for buying AQ).Quote:

Personally I'd go straight for offensive upgrades. I plan on doing AQ (initial buy and upgrade to level 2), lab, new storages (mainly gold so I can get level 5 cc) and a camp. I've only got 4 builders, if you have 5 then put him on the new, shorter defenses like the new tesla.
Xbows can wait a bit. By getting straight to max troops, max cc and 220 army spaces you can raid better, getting more loot to then do defenses and walls with.
I got my th9 about 6 weeks ago. First I did AQ lvl2, two xbows, lab and WT. I for one would not recommend doing archers right away, since it is the most expensive and longest upgrade, and it just doesn't stand up against barbs or even giants as these gain a much igher bonus, for a cheaper price.
I also kept upgrading my xbows constantly, and just finished my second one a couple of days ago - it's a few painful weeks, but then you have your xbows set for the rest of th9! My archers are also finishing in 2.5 d, and having done lvl6 barbs and giants I can honestly say that I don't regret saving archers for this late, and I would do the same thing again. No need to sweat that much for 2 dps and 4 hp, really. Oh, I also did my new walls to lvl6/7 as soon as possible (well, with builder from WT and AQ), and had them on lvl 8 about two weeks into th9. With gold spent on wall and lvl 1/2 WT, I did some camps with leftover elixir. Camps are awesome to get done early. Good luck, and enjoy!
The first gold upgrade id suggest are the xbow, and any defences units straight up to the leave the others are also out your new walls in and level them up. Try and upgrade your dark elixir drills their always important! Upgrade your lab i suggest doing your archers to level 6 first then upgrade wall breaks and after that whatever you please (;
Can't make out anything for sure here, but if you are suggesting he upgrades wall breakers I have to assume you yourself are not th9, as lvl6 wbs require lvl8 lab. DE drill should in my opinion be built as a filler or spacer, when you don't have enough resources to do anything else, or when you need to stagger your builders so they finish their jobs on different days. He would also need to build and upgrade an elixir storage in order to do lvl6 archers, would he choose to do so. Please don't give advice if you have not been in his situation, it might confuse him.Quote:

I am very surprised that only one person recommended offense. With the additional loot penalty isn't it best to get those camps upgrades ASAP? Any losses you take can easily be made up by farming.
I believe I'm the one who suggested offense. And yes get those TH9 raiding capabilities ASAP. You'll get maybe 1 or 2 defenses a night, but I'm sure you'll raid alot more than that during the day, so it only makes sense to upgrade what will be used most.Quote:

Make sure you do build the new, cheap defenses, and maybe dedicate one builder to getting them up to a good level. Xbows are great to have, but doing both will tie up 2 builders for a week, severely limiting the ability to upgrade camps/DE drills/other upgrade of your choice.
