How will this 'kill farming'? All it would do is make you more likely to be hit by an actual attack instead of a sniper, admittedly losing a little more loot, and as recompense you would be able to farm off the farmers who used to hide behind th shields = more loot to be taken in total, plus it would give some value back to trophies.
I am in favour of this even though I am a farmer myself.
I will let this be my last response to this thread. I would rather not stoop to personal attacks.
No, I am not a bitter champion league player. However, after reading pages upon pages of how the players at the Championship level are all che@ters and are cry babies etc... I wanted to turn the tables on the farmers. What was ironic about it all was that the players that were berating the champion players for che@ating and saying good riddance to them were exploiting the game in the exact same way!
A cheap shield is a cheap shield, it doesn't matter how you obtain it. Admittedly, the process and purpose are different, but it is what it is: an exploitation of game mechanics.
Removing the cheap shield tactics for farmers will not ruin the game. In my opinion, it will make the game much better. Yes, even the farmers will need to think about better defensive layouts, rather than hiding behind a cheap shields to protect their resources. More importantly, it will make the game a lot fairer for all to play.
Hopefully, Super Cell will consider removal of this game exploitation in the next update. :o
Yeah, I don't disagree with the OP's sentiment, but this is a better solution.
Well, except that you'd have more targets in the attack queue with good loot to hit.
Exactly; this just creates a more fluid loot distribution system where what was stolen is getting stolen by someone else. It doesn't kill farming at all.
This is just plain silly.
Equating leaving TH outside with che@t shielding is totally ABSURD!
Che@t shielding involves colluding with another player(s) to BLOCK ANYONE ATTACKING you with guaranteed outcome.
Leaving TH outside is nothing more than your own base design and strategy - with totally unpredictable outcome while your base is still OPEN TO ANY ATTACKS from normal match making!
Huge Huge difference!
Why is leaving TH outside an exploit? Why should one have to hide TH behind walls? Why should one have to have walls?
Base design is total freedom. You can use walls to paint alphabets to send a message if you want - is that an exploit?
Where is the rule that one has to hide certain buildings behind walls? TH? Storage? Defense?
Some high level players level all their storage outside as a shield - would you call it an exploit?
Some people leave TH outside with level 7 teslas all around it - it's part of the game and part of the strategy. Would you call it an exploit?
Some people would take the outside TH and proceed to attack the storage for a 2 star - would you call it an exploit?
Leaving TH outside is an exploit,
Leaving storages outside for free win is an exploit,
Not protecting builder hut to help Union Buster is an exploit,
Not refilling xbow is an exploit,
Not refilling inferno towers is an exploit,
EVERYTHING IS AN EXPLOIT!
This thread is just trophy hunters vs farmers, except for a trophy hunter to be any good they would have needed to be a farmer (or a gėmmer) to get their base upgraded. And more than likely putting their town hall outside… hypocrites much?
