New troop, just an idea!

I was trying to think of a relatively possible troops idea. Aren't you sick of lots of players coming out with unoriginal ideas and basic troops that are already covered in the game? With maybe a few subtle tweaks. I wanted to try to make a troop unlike the ones we know and love.

So bear with me through this, The Hydra. This Ancient Greek creature is known for its ability to regrow heads. It goes along the lines of, cut one off and two come back. I'm imagining a 2 headed lizard, similar appearance to Boga (the Varactyl Obi-Wan Kenobi rides in revenge of the sith) but y'know, more heads.

So it starts off with 2 heads, of equal power(let's say it has around 75 DPS. Each head attacking alternately. So that would be 75 power per shot, each head attacking every 2 seconds). The heads are attacked separately(e.g 1 defensive tower targets 1 head till it is destroyed, or alternatively splash damage towers hit all heads ). When a head is destroyed, it takes 5 seconds to regenerate, but comes back with an extra head, of course. The maximum number heads it can have is 4(so it's not too OP). If both heads are killed during their 5 second revival interval, then the beast will perish. The heads that are regenerated have only a fraction of the power the original heads posses. Around 25 power per shot each lets say, attacking more frequently so 100 DPS(if all 4 heads are out). If all 4 heads heads are killed, then this is the only other way for the beast to be slayed.

STATS!

Lvl 1

Cost: 600 DE
DPS(immediate heads): 75
DPS(secondary heads): 25 indivually
Hit Points(immediate heads): 700 each
Hit Points(secondary heads): 300 each
Housing space: 12
Movement speed: 25
Targets ground and air
No favourite targets
Weak against the mythical magic bolts of a wiz tower, they might do 1.3x damage to the hydra's heads

Lvl 2

Cost: 800 DE
DPS(immediate head) 100
DPS(secondary head) 35
Hit Points(immediate head) 1000
Hit Points(secondary head) 375
(All same from here on in)

I'm only giving rough numbers for the stats: an example of the ratio's I am thinking .

What do you mean OP housing space? To much, to little? I based housing space on witch. Similar attacking stradegy should be used as witches, to compensate for low health.

I'd have to disagree, sorry. I was considering 10 as a suggestion but upped to 12. If you look at stats, it has even(ish) health to a giant per housing space. And no where near the attack of a wiz. Pretty fair number id say

I thought i made that clear....starts of with 2, if either of these heads are killed, 2 heads return in its place. So there could be 2, 3 or 4

There's already an idea that is pretty much the same to this that is accomplishing what you are trying to do in just a different way. In the other Hydra the dps increases as health goes down in intervals, but the heads do not all have their own dps. Just search hydra here and you'll find the other one. It has like 140 replies and is very popular.

Yeah, i seen them after I posted. This was my first post and didnt think to look, was a little niave. But both the ones i seen have damage increases the lower the health went, tbh i dont think thats very good, it is only really useful just before it dies so heal spells are counter productive. Plus, my interpretation is more realistic with the head regrowth(well, as realised as you can get copying a fictional beast)
