Check out this week's events!
-Monday: Crop boost ALL crops. Get 3 instead of 2
-Tuesday: Boat, Extra puzzle (max 5)
-Wednesday: Spin the wheel, expansion items
-Thursday: Town visitor 2x XP & reputation
-Friday: Production building boost. 3 random buildings will be 20% faster
-Saturday & Sunday: Fishing, global event
*All events start at 8UTC*

Who wants to gamble on these events actually being the ones that we get. The notices for the events are somewhat useless tbh as rarely does a whole week pass with all the events working or being what is promised.
Yes I get it is a game, but Supercell is a for-profit company with massive revenues. Yet, there is no accountability for their errors.
If a grocery store with similar revenues had a coupon sale and folks went and bought whatever was on sale only to be told at the check-out "oh we are sorry we decided to change it from chicken on sale to give you an extra cookie, but sorry no we won't give you back those coupons you just use and we have already rung up your sale so we are sorry but mistakes happen" there would be repercussions. Of the monetary kind.
Hopefully eventually all these errors and total lack of interest in providing a responsive Support system hit them hard in the wallet so the company can set course back to a better and more interested response in handling issues.

Yes there have been problems with some of the events. However, I like the fact that Team HadDay is trying to keep all the players engaged in play for the entire week. If someone is too low of a level to participate in say a fishing or town event, they aren’t having to wait until the following week only to be disappointed again. The 24hr events are great, IMHO. They aren’t super intensive, and can be adapted to most everyone’s style of play.
I would rather them change the event because of whatever glitch or conflict than cancel the event altogether.

It's no skin off my nose what event it is. Some I find useless, others work, but many folks do pay money and used boosters. Reparation should be made to those people who prepared for an event only to find out it changed on them midstream. And good luck arguing with Support.

Just wondering, does the announcement of weekly events not appear in game for some folks? The envelope top left corner just above the settings sprocket icon.
I agree that the Spin The Wheel Event is kind of Meh. But I don’t mind as it’s the middle of the week it would have been NO event at all for over 90% of the time I have played this game. It’s a single spin. Almost like a mini break from the non stop events.
Im a big fan of the new almost daily events. I like the ability to plan for events and if sometimes the announced events are either changed or don’t work as expected I can roll with it. And it’s normally only a day anyway.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s triple crop event as I’ve been having a problem keeping enough crops in stock. Have a new plan to not grow any wheat at all tomorrow. As a chronic wheater this is gonna be a different kind of day.
