Revenge Change and how it affects top players

Now their bribery of leaving seems to have fallen of dead ears they have now turned their attention to farmers

My respect for these ppl is eroding fast. Its a scary insight to the mindset of humanities need to win at all costs. & this cost is to stare at clouds for 8 hours

This disgusts me im just a lowly town hall 8 who cant stand how the updates before werent fixing exploits that top players had and once they do the top players start complaining? Grow up what are you guys 3? You might actually have to play the game as intended you know actually raid and defend for your trophies and if you lose? So freaking what its a game get over it! I mean yes some of the troops are a bit OP and need to be balanced but whatever. Supercell you are doing a wonderful job keep it up

Until SC releases OP troops like witches and hogs... where strategy doesn't really exist.

It's been a few days since update, and as far as I can see, trophies "up there" haven't dropped too quickly. Still waiting to see how it plays out.

Unfortunately, the concept behind disabling revenge past 3200 comes from good intentions - to prevent cheap shielding - but it also PUNISHES any legitimate revenge. I'm almost certain that a lot of the 3700s will find the 3200s and attack since they won't have to fear losing 50 cups. Additionally, whereas before they would probably break the shield and play for 4 or 5 hours straight (for a whopping 5 cups), now people really WILL ride out shields all the time. No incentive to not.

i dont see any problem at all with this update since the cash for clan factor has been reduced in this game.

if the cashplayers wana leave now because of this, then so be it! id rather wana see qualitative people up there than player who bought their rank.

1. Lets stop the personal attacks and claims of c h e a t or h a c k. It is not relevant to the conversation we should look forward not back.
2. What supercell is trying to do is creat more opportunity to attack top level players and to have that opportunity be truly random.
3. Pedro lee and others have expressed frustration with the new system unrelated to just revenges and shields. I still don't understand what they are but would like to learn.
4. Remember this game is played by millions and thousands are willing to spend the time and money to be at the top. Clearly most will not be able to make it and will be frustrated with the system. That's just a simple supply and demand reality.
5. It's going to still take gems to be a top player. Because of how much you lose on defense compared to what you can win in a ladder system you must attack many times in each eight hour window. The only way to accomplish this is to speed things up with gems.
6. Lets leave things not germain to high level play out of the thread so we don't lose focus again.

Seriously, why do we farmers care? What have they done to us except for paying our game?

I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about what they do, only how much gold I've got left for my next wall.

God so tired of hearing these freakin crybabies whine all day. If you don't like it quit and don't play. If this game is such a big part of your life that this bothers you so much you need therapy.
