My hoodmate and I have been watching some of the "top" contributors to the truck event and noticed some strange things. Can you send off 40 trucks in 10 minutes? Can you do this for 20 hours straight? I know I can't, but I'm wondering if others think this is possible?
I used to time my trucktasks ( crazy I know) .
My record for serving 32 trucks is around 13 minutes . Thats a truck every 24 seconds.
The pace for the topcontributors are 1 truck every 15 seconds ( for 20 hours straight:unsure:)

If there is some way to work the angles and cut corners, someone will figure it out. Some of those top contributor numbers are definitely fishy.
The slowest factor is the lag waiting for the truck to drive out and back. If there is a sneaky way to get around that then sure it'd be possible.
You can shave off the outbound trip time if you visit another farm, then come back to your own farm, immediately when you send the truck. Edit: I timed it at ~20 seconds.
Also, sometimes if the game disconnects at the right time, then the truck is back instantly. Maybe the top contributors are exploiting this?
It's 10 seconds. If you send a truck, jump to another farm, count to 10 and come back, your truck will be waiting.
wow...lol I'm sorry, that's too much work. I'm assuming that they have multiple people using the same account in shifts to do this. It's like this with the top players in any game though.

I get that you are able to send a few trucks at this pace using the trick shepherdsgirl posted, but for 50 hours straight?
Those farmers will prob need medical assistance when this event is over.
No sleep, no breaks for 4 days...
Silwing, its teamwork, like 8 guys each one playing the same farm for 3 hours a day.☺
