Can someone explain the logic Rose uses to feed animals? Right now she is complaining of being out of room, but there are animals that could be fed to free up capacity. I don't understand why she leaves the various animals hungry when she has food to feed them.
Check your settings for Rose
she feeds them based on the amount of each item you tell her to keep in stock. so, for instance, if you tell her to keep 15 bacon, she will feed 15 pigs, collect the bacon, and then not feed them further.
if she has food, then you probably have her set to feed the animals, and keep extra food. she will make the extra food, but not feed them again if she has her quota of bacon (15) already.
however, if you use or sell the bacon from her stock, then she will feed the animals and then collect until she hits her quota again. the food itself does not count against her total storage capacity, only the animal products do.

Rose and Ernest does help me a lot, especially when I have trouble regarding space. It's a good addition of the gameplay in Hayday.
The feed she makes has no effect on how much product she can hold. The feed itself does not count towards her totals.Quote:

Keep in mind also that if she's maxed out in product - say... milk - and you want her to pick up bacon, you'll have to use up the milk or sell it roadside to make room.
If you want her to feed animals, check the option that says "keep extra feed, feed all animals". If you are doing a derby task to collect milk or something, then you want to check "keep extra feed, only feed animals as needed" and she will only feed the animals that you have her collecting product for.
All that being said, I also find the helpers to be a pain. They were super helpful in the beginning, but now that I have max slots in all the machines, they usually just get in my way.
They work best for me if I know I am going to be away for a while
What is frustrating with Rosie is that she does not at least feed the last animals that she collects the product. Thus when you come back you have to feed the animals. It is a job that is half done. She should feed any animals that she collects product as long as she has the food. She messes up the process when she fails to do that.
If you tap on rose, she has her own settings. I select option one and she feeds all animals.Quote:
