Better and Newly Improved, Clan Related Ideas (including clan ranks in depth)
Hey all yall clashers out there! Before i get started i would like you to know i do in fact know that these rules have been stated by some other people BUT this is my version and its basically a wish list of MUCH NEEDED clan improvements. Here is my original post found here --->Click Me<--- If you have a idea, comment or feedback PLEASE reply and vote so more people can see this and then supercell can get a hold of it. If your idea is a well thought out idea or a worthy idea of being in my "Wish List" i will be sure to add it asap. Also i found a quote i really liked scrolling through the forums so here it is...

Before i start talking about the ranks, i would like you to know of a feature i have thought about for a while now and i think it should be put in, this feature is a government system. In the government system it works just like in real life governments with the same rules and such. Below are examples of what mode the original leader had decided to set.

Explanation of each (* Means its a new feature later described)

Clan Leader
Max of 1 per clan

Top of the food chain (basically has all permissions)
*Sets form of government (Communist/Democracy/Totalirarian)
Can Kick any member or ranked player
*Can Mute any member or ranked player
*Can Disable Requests of ANY member or ranked player
Can change clan description
Can change setting of clan (Invite only/Open/Closed/*Audition)

-Runner-Up (Runner up to vip)

Set by the leader
-Champion (set to show you won a prize of some sort)
-Celled (Punishment)
Customization names (goes through a bad word check)

Clan Discipline (part 2)
Short but sweet XD

Muting- A idea where if someone is acting insane/immature but you dont want to kick them , you can just mute them for a amount of time. Time periods vary depending on the severity, from 1 minute to 5 minutes to 10 minutes to 30 minutes to a hour to 12 hours to a day! (you can opt out in the middle of the mute)

Disabling Requests- A idea where if you have a leech that just keeps on requesting troops and he just wont stop, disable it for a certain amount of time similar to the time periods above in the muting.

Blacklist-A list of players banned from the clan and can not ever join back even with a invitation. The names are deleted after recent 20 since storage issues.

Notes:
When the clan leader sets the minimum amount of donations for the season it auto disables their requests and mutes them for 6 hours

Feeder Clans (part 3)
So here is how feeder clans will work:
Once you have a main clan (must have more than 35 members) another clan with less trophies than you can apply to become the official feeder of your clan (must have more than 30 members). What this does is it allows the "Council Chat" to be accessible to both clans so communication can be reached between them. Some other features are...

-When you are looking at your clan you can see a small red button with a bow and arrow on it and when you click it it will take you to the feeder clans page and vice versa

-Transactions can take place so feeders can trade members with the main clan and also vice versa to make the main clans stronger and also so it is easier to switch the members

-More features added soon this is just a base

Clan Alliances (part 4)
(HUGE UPDATE 4)
So basically here is how clan alliances will work...
-Unlike feeders they can not trade members, but they do have a chat
-In each "Alliance" a maximum of 10 clans can join.
-Upon joining, the clan will be put on the "Alliance Profile Page" where all 10 clans names will be, with buttons that bring you to that clan, its feeder and it also shows you the amount of trophies at the moment, the shield, clan leaders name and also the name of the clan.
-Since there is a clan alliance page a new button will show up in the clan profile (part 5)
-Also, there will be a new leader-board for clan alliances. To mix things up, each season has a different priority for what it is to get first place like: Most total donations of the clans, Most gained trophies during a season, Highest average level, Most total defenses won, most loot gained, most troops used ect.
-On the clan alliance page there will be a chat tab where you can chat with elders and leaders between all the clans
-To create a alliance your clan must have 40 members, and every member can donate gold ane elixir to achieve the total amount of 10,000,000 points, 10 point per elixir, 50 per gold, 100 per dark elixir. Once that total is achieved the leader can create the name and that clan becomes a capital clan for that alliance (labeled capital on the clan and alliance profiles).
-The leader of the capital becomes the Overlord in alliance chat, elders of that clan become Lords in alliance chat, leaders of all the other clans become Royals and the elders of all the other clans stay elder in the chat.
-To join a clan alliance you must be invited by a royal or overloard
-Only the overlord can kick other clans out
-You can apply to join a alliance
-In alliance chat you can share replays and donate troops to a new tower called the Alliance HQ. The alliance HQ is required by every leader to join a alliance, and troops donated to the alliance tower can only defend the base. The donations will count towards your total amount in the clan. Level one can hold 5 troops (costs 100 de, 10,000 gold and 10,000 elixir) Level two can hold 10 (1000 de, 100,000 gold and 100,000 elixir) Level three can hold 15 (10,000 de, 1,000,000 gold and 1,000,000 elixir) and the last level, level four can still hold 15 BUT it has a small lazer similar to a telsa on the tower so not only is it a defensive tower but it can use troops too! (50,000 de 6,000,000 gold and 6,000,000 elixir)
-Feeders can not be in a alliance with the main clan

Clan Profiles (part 5)
So obviously clan profiles are just profiles for your clan! Some features include:
-Purple button in the corner to access it
-Most total trophies gained
-Most donated amount by one member per season
-Most donated amount total per season
-Top leader board rank
-Created on...
-What alliance its in
-Feeder clans (if they have one)
-Average level
-Average townhall
-Founder of the clan
-What government type it is
-Longer description

In the clan profile there will be a section that includes all of the clan rules that will look kind of like a fill in the blank like this...

-In the clan castle, you can view the troop that was donated and WHO it was donated by so you can catch those evil goblin donators! (unless you want that)
-Clan decor! Includes... Large shield on a rock, Flag with the colors on it, flowers with the clan colors on it, statue of a barbarian king raising a shield with the clans sheild on it
-(suggested by Frenzy)Option to turn on and off color coordinated troop costumes for battle. For example, the barbarian would wear a blue and read headband if the clan shield was those colors

-Democracy, every 2 seasons (4 weeks) a new leader and a new coleader are elected to government by a series of votes amongst the clan, the leader and coleader can then decide who they want their elders and honor elders to be. If 3/4 of the clan decides to elect a new leader they have the option to do so at the end of each week

-Communist, Where there is no specific rank and everyone is considered a member, everyone can invite, message, accept clan applications, but nobody can kick out besides the leader and coleaders. If changed to democracy the leader will be voted for, if changed to autocracy everyone is demoted besides the leader but all of the coleader must accept the change.

-Autocracy, Where the leader has all the control and can decide anything whenever he wants, no elections, no coleaders, only loyal members, no voting, no impeachment. If changed to democracy leader is voted for and if changed to communist then it stays the same but there can be coleaders and also everyone is a loyal member

-None, stays exactly like before (includes all the ranks below)

Honestly, I think leaders, co-leaders, elders, and members are all the ranks we need.

There is no reason to over-complicate the matter. Same with the government.

I like my alliance idea for feeders--I'm not sure why you have a place holder for alliances, as well as feeders.

I really want clan wars. I don't want a community base, but other than that, I'm good with any decent system, although I prefer a tournament-style elimination process.

How about customizable clan uniforms for troops representing the clan colors?

Well opon making it a feeder clan it should since it kind of makes sence to have less trophies but if eventually the clan has more then it wont be kicked off. This is just kind of to not allow like powerhouses to become feeders and such.

Forget democracy. The clan leader should keep his "power" position, and only co-leader, and loyal member ranks should be added. Try not to go to intricate with the idea next time. Simple yet effective.

SC must accept this idea even of course it may add some changes to it.
But the best idea of clan wars was from link no.1.
SC we are eager to get a new update so plz accept this idea and you may even add many things related to using gems so that your funding increases due to this new concept

These all sound good, there are so many people throwing supercell the answers of what the people want, yet it falls on deaf ears and trivial updates continue to be released. Employing people would be a start for SC. they are running a multi billion company with fewer employees than I have personally employed at times. If they are unable to make real development on the game, then they should hire people who can.

I agree, their updates are very wimpy. With those resources i would expect something better other than just a silly tweek in graphics, numbers and something that dosent effect 78% of the community

All your ideas are perfect in my opinion i see a lot of things tht are ideas that I had and never wanted to post but THIS. This is great. Especially the alliances and feeders and the many ranking levels (which is basically all of it). I hope this gets to the game producers and makes it in an update sooooon plzzzzzzzzzzzz. The game can use this so bad its great already and if this is added it will be so much more popular (like top of the App Store for eternity popular). If this idea is rejected i will be so sad cuz this is the best idea I've seen on the forums great job boblo this is amazing. And I hope it gets enough attention to get to the supercell employees ears cuz if there was one update they could have id say "forget about new troops and spells and a better loot system. All I want is THIS UPDTAE RIGHT HERE" so please supercell you need this in clash it is the best idea

We'll, I think some of the ideas are out due to programming issues. This whole thread could take years to develop. Haven't we noticed that all supercell puts in updates is ONE new troop or ONE new defense. So to put 100's of new ideas into place would be more hassle than its worth. I love the ideas and maybe the in depth system would work great! I really do like the ideas for the feeders. KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK

Thanks! And yes I do realize that supercell does take a while to put up stuff but maybe they need to reads that their company Is worth 3 billion and actually spend money to get more money

Before i start talking about the ranks, i would like you to know of a feature i have thought about for a while now and i think it should be put in, this feature is a government system. In the government system it works just like in real life governments with the same rules and such. Below are examples of what mode the original leader had decided to set.

Clan Discipline (part 2)
Short but sweet XD

Muting- A idea where if someone is acting insane/immature but you dont want to kick them , you can just mute them for a amount of time. Time periods vary depending on the severity, from 1 minute to 5 minutes to 10 minutes to 30 minutes to a hour to 12 hours to a day! (you can opt out in the middle of the mute)

Disabling Requests- A idea where if you have a leech that just keeps on requesting troops and he just wont stop, disable it for a certain amount of time similar to the time periods above in the muting.

Blacklist-A list of players banned from the clan and can not ever join back even with a invitation. The names are deleted after recent 20 since storage issues.

Notes:
When the clan leader sets the minimum amount of donations for the season it auto disables their requests and mutes them for 6 hours

Feeder Clans (part 3)
So here is how feeder clans will work:
Once you have a main clan (must have more than 35 members) another clan with less trophies than you can apply to become the official feeder of your clan (must have more than 30 members). What this does is it allows the "Council Chat" to be accessible to both clans so communication can be reached between them. Some other features are...

-When you are looking at your clan you can see a small red button with a bow and arrow on it and when you click it it will take you to the feeder clans page and vice versa

-Transactions can take place so feeders can trade members with the main clan and also vice versa to make the main clans stronger and also so it is easier to switch the members

-More features added soon this is just a base

Clan Alliances (part 4)
(HUGE UPDATE 4)
So basically here is how clan alliances will work...
-Unlike feeders they can not trade members, but they do have a chat
-In each "Alliance" a maximum of 10 clans can join.
-Upon joining, the clan will be put on the "Alliance Profile Page" where all 10 clans names will be, with buttons that bring you to that clan, its feeder and it also shows you the amount of trophies at the moment, the shield, clan leaders name and also the name of the clan.
-Since there is a clan alliance page a new button will show up in the clan profile (part 5)
-Also, there will be a new leader-board for clan alliances. To mix things up, each season has a different priority for what it is to get first place like: Most total donations of the clans, Most gained trophies during a season, Highest average level, Most total defenses won, most loot gained, most troops used ect.
-On the clan alliance page there will be a chat tab where you can chat with elders and leaders between all the clans
-To create a alliance your clan must have 40 members, and every member can donate gold ane elixir to achieve the total amount of 10,000,000 points, 10 point per elixir, 50 per gold, 100 per dark elixir. Once that total is achieved the leader can create the name and that clan becomes a capital clan for that alliance (labeled capital on the clan and alliance profiles).
-The leader of the capital becomes the Overlord in alliance chat, elders of that clan become Lords in alliance chat, leaders of all the other clans become Royals and the elders of all the other clans stay elder in the chat.
-To join a clan alliance you must be invited by a royal or overloard
-Only the overlord can kick other clans out
-You can apply to join a alliance
-In alliance chat you can share replays and donate troops to a new tower called the Alliance HQ. The alliance HQ is required by every leader to join a alliance, and troops donated to the alliance tower can only defend the base. The donations will count towards your total amount in the clan. Level one can hold 5 troops (costs 100 de, 10,000 gold and 10,000 elixir) Level two can hold 10 (1000 de, 100,000 gold and 100,000 elixir) Level three can hold 15 (10,000 de, 1,000,000 gold and 1,000,000 elixir) and the last level, level four can still hold 15 BUT it has a small lazer similar to a telsa on the tower so not only is it a defensive tower but it can use troops too! (50,000 de 6,000,000 gold and 6,000,000 elixir)
-Feeders can not be in a alliance with the main clan

So obviously clan profiles are just profiles for your clan! Some features include:
-Purple button in the corner to access it
-Most total trophies gained
-Most donated amount by one member per season
-Most donated amount total per season
-Top leader board rank
-Created on...

-Feeder clans (if they have one)
-Average level
-Average townhall
-Founder of the clan
-What government type it is
-Longer description

In the clan profile there will be a section that includes all of the clan rules that will look kind of like a fill in the blank like this...

-(suggested by Frenzy)Option to turn on and off color coordinated troop costumes for battle. For example, the barbarian would wear a blue and read headband if the clan shield was those colors

Update 1-Added Government systems

Update 3-Tweeked democracy a lot!
Update 4- HUGE UPDATE! Added clan alliances and also included a extra section for things not in a specific section, also ranked all the clan wars!

the only real problem I see is if clan leader is incactive for 1 month a coleader is elected leader whats the point of being leader then if you have absolute power and be kicked out of power after a month of being inactive?

Why would someone be a leader and be inactive for a month? Some clans without a leader that long loose any control they ever had.

New clan structure

Part of your very detailed, and well explained ideas of new clan structured has already been proposed several times to supercell. It is sad that, though they acknowledged the idea, they didnt see the re structuring of the clans as a necessity and that holds some urgency now, after 1yr 1/2 of CoC existence.
several clans (including mine) has already been dismantled, with key players fed up with the actual, somewhat boring game mode... And sure, it demands some kick up.
your ideas make sense, but i doubt supercell will implement them in toto.
if only the key and most important features could be added very soon, that would have been great.
i realise that compiling all this must have been time consuming. Great job for inputting all of them.
Keep it up, hopefully, supercell will finally find the urgency in adding the most important in their next updates

that was really good, i love all your ideas, especially the government part! and the alliances and all, i think they need anhuge update where they put everything you wrote in, it would really benefit the game. i love your threads, keep up the good work mr. president ;p :D

This could be a good idea but wont a blacklist and all this other stuff start to make the app huge? I don't think i would be able to keep it on my device if it got any bigger than a Gb mainly because my iPad is for school work and such.

Yeah im not too sure. I wasnt really expecting supercell to put in all of these ideas but maybe a few :D

If supercell added this i wouldn't want any more updates. I would be satisfied 4 ever. Except the government not a huge fan of that... Although I like the concept that if a leader is inactive for more than 30 days the co lead is promoted
