It has been suggested many times and discussed often, including recently. Alone, without any limits on attacks, it would make legends worse than it is now.
Artificial bases would make an artificial win. Being on top seem hollow.
How about a variant of this idea? Shadow copies of existing bases.
While base A is in Legends and under shield (village guard, whatever),for each time Village A does 1 attack 1 shadow village (copies, with refilled traps xbows and IT, loot refilled from when Base A did first attack) gets created. The shadow/ copy Village A1, A2,A 3 etc. get slotted into match making. Once Village A is shield-less or being attacked all copies get errased. Same for a player B, C etc.
If player A is very active let say manages to do 5 attacks there will be 5 copies put into multiplayer match making, if player B is less active and does only 1 attack, then there will be only 1 copy showing up in match making. The players would only lose loot if original base gets raided - which won’t happen when shielded... but shadow bases show up for others to attack and loot.
That makes exactly as many bases in multiplayer matching attack and defend but it would not mean eventually SC has to deal with changing and modifying completely artificially made bases as META evolves with time, updates or simply variations between trophy levels
Well, it may not be foolproof, and others have certainly suggested it. Others on the thread have pointed out why it may not work, so I don't need to. But I do think it's commendable to try and come with a solution rather than just griping about the problem :thumbsup:
I have one more suggestions for this clouding give free gems with win bonus loot. e.g. 3star 3gems, 2star 2gems something like that with supercell don't problem with😅
Cloud system isn’t a way to allows free to play players anything. Yesterday I spent almost 3 hrs in clouds before my personal break forced me out. Today I was in for a little over an hour before I left my house for a movie. Now I’ve been back in for 1.5 hrs. I’ve been awake for 8.5 hrs so far today and I’ve got to raid 0 times. ZERO! I don’t care how they fix but not allowing people to attack cause they have too many trophies to no way to run a game.
Really hope something changes. Two more hero levels then fully maxed again. I really want to push trophies but the clouding situation now sounds absolutely horrible. Feel sorry for all those in high ranges getting clouded into oblivion during clan games.
What do you think supercell mindset regarding the clouds? Too afraid to change the game significantly? I could see that. Makes a lot of money. I would be nervous also. I would assume less money than in the past. Getting your likely best customers not paying money is probably not the way to go though. Do they not see it as a top five issue? And the team is too small where there are other priorities? I’m not sure that is a good thing At this point. Maybe more talent needed? I don’t hear google saying they are a small team and they can’t fix something. Very frustrating
