Ours seems improved and doable, however, once derby bingo was mentioned, more opted out. We have 5 opted in out of 23.
we plan to ignore the board as we shoot for all 320 point tasks. Maybe peek now and then, but not focus on it :smirk:

We’re ignoring the bingo too since it’s a rewards one, but I do have to admit it seems like there are more tasks coming up for the board than before....we might get a line by accident and we’re doing only 320s. That might just be coincidence but I’ve already trashed quite a few bingo tasks as opposed to last few when they seemed scarce....anyone noticing this?
Our board is not too bad and we are hoping to get some lines. At present we are doing 320 point tasks and monitoring things. Four opted in this week.
Out of 12 bingo tasks I have 8 town related, not very impressed!
Has the bingo achievement glitch been fixed?
We're a more relaxed neighborhood -- we don't have a 10x320 requirement like the more competitive neighborhoods. So that definitely has an impact on how we deal with the special derbies.
We tried to do Bingo the last time and one hoodie kinda messed us up by not following the plan. And it took a LOT of work to get us even one line.
This time we're not gonna even try. If we happen to get a line that's great. But the level of effort to get the rewards is just too high, in my opinion.
This bingo derby is the worst we have had yet. Not a single achievable line on the board, and with only 24 opted in we need 9/10 of each task to complete a square.
Nothing improved at all about bingo derby if you’re a large active hood like us, still ridiculously imbalanced, still a massive variation in bingo board difficulty from one hood to another. Some of my friends hoods have bingo boards with easily achievable line, others are even worse than us.
Bingo prizes surprised me. I got a 5 star booster in all 3 bingo prizes. Free Tom, Time reduced Tom and fill 3 boat crates. I wasn’t expecting much but these are useful to me. And yay for achievement fixed.
It wouldn't hurt my feelings if SuperCell gave up on the bingo derby theme.
Another well planned..cough... disaster brought to you by SC
These aspects of the game that are never thoroughly tested create no further interest in the game.
This week's derby has been horrible for us this week. Almost no tasks over 300. Very rare at least. So annoying.
This week’s bingo board is the worst so far. Out of the 10 lines, 8 of them have individual townie tasks. Getting 9/10 of those is impossible. Each bingo derby there are bingo tasks that we *never* see. Of any point level. The number of tasks required for a bingo square does seem unbalanced between different sized hoods. We have 27 opted in, need 9/10 of each task. And NH with 5 opted in needs just 1/2 of each task. My baby farm is in a hood of 2, where we just need 1 of each task. 2 bingo lines this derby, easy-peasy.
Sierramike you said that people opted opted out of the derby will still get the bingo achievement- are you sure about this? For the other derby-related achievements you must be opted in. Or maybe I misunderstood your post? :) While the extra rewards are nice, many of my hoodies want the achievement. It would be a good option to have most people opt out for the week of a bingo derby and have a few people do lines for 1/2 tasks, and the whole NH would get the lines counted towards the achievement. But that seems like it would be too good to be true.
They may have tweaked the odds on Bingo-board production tasks appearing on the task board. Our board has a sushi task square, which we're avoiding; however, I've noticed several sushi tasks have appeared (and been tossed).
Crop frequency might have also been slightly tweaked; I've seen a few more lettuce tasks than I'd have expected (another square we're avoiding), but that might just be a fluke.
The hard part for our neighborhood this Bingo Derby is that we're trying out a few newer neighbors who are proving less than Champions grade, with one not having taken a task in 2.5 days, and another apparently about to test whether the rumored "expired task prevents its bingo square EVER completing" bug has been fixed. Completing our triple bingo might require a few diamonds from our experienced players for buying extra tasks (which I loathe doing), or may simply no longer be possible. However, that's in no way SuperCell's fault.
We have several townie squares, and one of them (Actress) hasn't shown up once. We also need 3 butter popcorns, and again....not showing up. The tasks seem very low in points (Champion League). I like the idea of the Bingo, but it's frustrating in play.
We are just two tasks away from triple bingo! But we are a small neighborhood -- just 4 in the derby this week.
Our bingo board has been terrible! We can not get any of the tasks that we need to complete a bingo. I've trashed over 600 tasks myself. Just awful.
Getting 9 of a townie task would likely (median probability) require pulling somewhere around 1000 tasks; very difficult, but not impossible.
Now, getting all those as 320-point tasks would require trashing more like 4000; that IS impossible without spending diamonds.
I liked this one a lot better than the last one.
We got a two line bingo this time, would have had three if not for a communication error. Decent rewards, a scroll and 4 planks.
All of the tasks we needed appeared after a day or two, no problems there.
Of course, we aren't focussing on the derby result this week.
I no longer do Bingo derby.....waste of my time AND blocks us from first place. We are looking for experienced players who enjoy derby...and talking....and trading....and helping....look for NH: MONEY MONEY (red chicken on circle background)
No, not certain of that at all but I have seen others post that it was a problem with the original bingo derby and that SC has not fixed it and that their experience this week was it was counting toward achievements of everyone. I agree sounds too good to be true, but that is what I read elsewhere, so if it is true, no need to complain to SC to fix it
