I thought: wow. Nice canon nice steering wheel and nice anchor :)
So i invested 60 of my newly bought diamonds on 12 mystery nets.
Results:
1 flower wheelbarrow
several lures
1 pearl of the sea
no diamonds
no new deco.
Just curious if that's your experience too? Or should i trie another 60 diamonds hoping to get the deco?
I've decided to simply throw down one mystery new per day and see what happens. No new deco (or pearl) this week with 6 tries so far (30 diamonds).
I have dropped 3 mystery nets on both farms. No new deco for me. I did get a few gold lures, and some needed EM, and mining tools, along with the fish. I’ve dropped 2 more on each, still cooking.
Debating if I should just drop a net in every spot, hmmm?
I have dropped about 8 nets...and won a pearl!
I have seen a high level player with two wheels and a cannon. No anchor. She has hundreds of pearls!

it took most of 4 years getting a pearl, so I don’t expect it to be easy or soon. I will make a mystery net now and then, like buying a lotto ticket...
May I ask what you guys are talking about? I must have missed an announcement or an even. What new decos?

Nick mentioned cannons, anchors and a steering wheel would be able to be won by mystery nets.
I try 1 mistery net, hoping will get a winter theme deco, but I only got 2 fishes + 1 shovel + 1 block stones.
Not the one I looking for, but not bad either, still ok.

I have only spent diamonds to make a mystery net twice in the 2 years I've been playing. The second one was a couple of days ago. I got lucky and got an anchor.
I’ve dropped 24 nets and no decos. Did good on diamonds and lures but not any of the rare decos. It took me a very long time to get the first pearl so kinda figured I wouldn’t hit them right away. Still hoped to tho :)
I made 3 nets and dropped one. It has been FOREVER since I dropped a mystery net, which is probably why I got a cannon on the first try! Woo hoo
We’re Navy, so we want the fouled anchor, at least 1 more cannon, and the ships wheel.
For those who haven’t seen them, they’re on the beach in Greg’s town.
I've been buying mystery nets and placing one in the #6 fishing spot daily for about a year and a half. I have lots of pearls on both farms. I got the anchor on my mini today.
2nd time nothing ..... 24 nets... 120 diamonds. Preparing for a last try :D
I’m just doing the odd one when I remember. No luck yet, but good to see they have been won.

Considering I couldn’t even get the ghost, gifts, or fireworks in the fishing area which people were supposed to be able to get too, I’m gonna assume my fishing area is bugged and I’ll never get these items. Why waste diamonds on these nets?
