Why Cant I Make It To Master?

I used level 6 balloons and level 5 minions during my clan's trophy push and got from Gold 3 to Crystal 1 (barely made it to 2400)

Once I hit crystal 1, the bases were overwhelmingly challenging. I felt like I had no problem getting to crystal 1, but there was no way I could go to master. Is it because I am still a town hall 9? Do I need to have a th 10 with inferno towers to help defend my base?

I am so confused why I kept getting 48-49% on bases where I would usually 100% or close to it.

Any tips?

How often do you click "next"? Often it is just a question of patience to find the right bases to attack.

with those troops and maxed army camps you should be able to balloon minion to masters. Dont want to sound rude but you might be doing it wrong. check youtube for good balloon tactics. better still check out daddy's videos they will teach you the right way.

I'm sure it's not your base, trophy pushing is more offense than defense.

how many raids a day are you doing? And when waiting for your army to build do you leave the game (I.e. You get attacked between each of your raids and have to break a shield constantly)?

when looking for a good base to raid with balloons minions you need to find a base that suits your army comp, and that varies depending on the number of balloons you use. But you always want to find a base with wizard towers and air defenses easily accessible with your balloons. Try attacking from a wide side of a base, and not a corner. The more spread out your balloons are on a single side the better it is. Bases that are extremely compact , have wizard towers well inside other defenses, and air defenses hidden well inside the bases core are not wise to attack.

are you using spells?

Do you use spells? This can make a difference between 49% and 70% :)

Do you pick outside units with your minions? I usually get like 15 percent damage before I send the wave in ..

I made it to Masters as a TH 7 using level 2 dragons, archers and spells. It wasn't but it can be done.

Should be no problem with that army. 1 lightning and the rest heal or rage. YouTube for deployment advice or visit a clan that has replays of sucsessfull raids. It does. Get tough from 2500-2600 because you can lose quite a bit of cups on defense.

With 20 balloons, 60 minions, 4 rages, 1 light it's not so difficult...

Look at Youtube clashers for advice. But 1 wave of minions (around 20), after balloons with rage spells and when they destroy air defence & wizz tower you can destroy everything with your minions ;)

The light spell is for CC (but you know that I'm sure) ;)
