So even though we are supposed to be able to catch the new fish that came with the Halloween theme, I haven't caught any? I spend a lot of time fishing, but none of the new ones have popped up. Any tips?

What type of lures do you use?
if its just the red ones then you will catch only common fish as opposed to rare ones you will need to use your tickets from boats and metal bar orders to make different lures to catch rarer fish.
Also different fish are only available in certain fishing areas try and upgrade your fishing lake to open other areas.

The 4 new fish are "special event" fish, and we'll be able to catch 1 or more of them during these events. No event has yet been scheduled so you've not missed anything.
If you look very closely at the circular icon at the top of each new fish picture frame, you'll see the shadow of a meter. This is likely similar to the contribution meters during the previous events. Whether those meters will denote simply how many we've caught for different level awards or if these will also be global contribution events, I do not know.
Ah okay, thanks. I was so confused because I use all types of lures and have all the fishing areas unlocked. Will wait for the special event!
