Why would anyone need maxed heroes to look at your war and see that neither side was able to 3 star all of the enemy? Your own war example, including showing less than max th11s, supports the idea that the offensive buff did not break war, did not make building defense irrelevant, etc. Your example disproves your own thread title.

I’ve had luck 3ing th10s with th10s since hogs are relivant again. Can even 3 a couple poorly engineered th11s with th10s. Glad to see hogs have made a comeback at higher levels, but I guess most everything has now.

73/75 with no maxed heros. So your saying 32 th11 attacks with 20 more spaces and 5 level heros wouldn’t have made a difference?

Guys go to YouTube and watch some videos. I’m not the only one saying wars and defenses are broken. It’s obvious and just because you can’t three or your base defends in a couple wars doesn’t mean you are that much better than everyone else.

I just got 95% on a maxed base with a level 38 king and 46 queen and 3/4 camps complete. This was a skilled defensive layout. You don’t think 12 king levels and 4 queen levels threes that base?

Give me a break guys, you’re beating a dead horse. Defensives are broken. If that’s not your experience than expose yourself to more skilled players and more skilled wars.

I’m not trying to be mean here, but I assume you do not include your own clan as skilled since they couldn’t come close to 3 starring the enemy th11s? The disconnect here is you are trying to say war is broken because all th11s are easily 3 starred, yet you showed us an example of two clans neither of which 3 starred all of the th11s. What is your response to the 3 star rates in the clan war leagues? The best ones around 15%? Those guys need to watch some youtube videos?

Part of the reason posters are hesitant to accept your gospel as the truth is because what you claim is an auto 3* isn’t occurring with any regularity in casual clans that war (the majority), in random spins with war focused clans, nor in leagues with competitive war clans (where the most skilled are likely to play). 3* at TH11 occurred before the inferno nerf and there is a channel on YT that shows some ridiculously good 3* hits, but even if that particular player found the game too easy after the update that wouldn’t hold much relevance to the majority.

Another part of the reason is your own war example fails to support your claim. If defenses were truly broken, obsolete, and not worth building your team would have cleared the board, but they did not. However, if your opponent had TH8/9 defense levels then you would have cleared the board, so obviously your opponent’s defenses did help and did do their job.

Defense have saved our clan in multiple recent wars since the update.

I don’t follow leagues so I can’t speak with any level of education on their matchups or how they are setting up league matches. I can say we’ve beat league teams before and they were not difficult and we aren’t that good.

So in leagues everyone has 50 heros and maxed camps? And they only average 17% of their hits as 3 stars on th11s? If that’s the case, than I should play in leagues because I three a lot more than 17% and I’m nothing special.

I’m not asking for people to take my word as absolute truth. I’m sharing my experiences and the experiences of a clan that faced us. They got 73 stars in the first 5-8 hours of the war while we were asleep. We didn’t rise to the occasion and also didn’t use a lot of attacks. Since then we’ve had two perfect wars the last one being with a clan that had maxed defenses minus a few archer towers and air defenses. We 3d him twice after we maxed stars. Again, we are not that skilled so I know other are doing the same.

I’ve also done a significant amount of fcs with 50 heros and maxed camps and either score in the high 90s or 100 percent the majority of the time. I am an average attacker so these league players or the guys that warred against us (who didn’t have maxed camps or maxed heros but still 3D almost every base of ours despite them never have been being threed.) should be crushing people.

Any th11 can be threed with 3/4 attempts. If you have 50/50/20and maxed camps and can’t three a maxed th11 with 3 attempts than something is wrong. Vs the 7-8 attempts that still resulted in 2 star attacks previously.

there is nothing broken if it takes 3-4 tries to 3 a max 11 anyway because a player only gets to use 2 raids per war therefore by that logic, most bases would remain only 2 starred...

even if the 3 star rate creeps up to 25% i think that will at least be more entertaining. i believe the th9 3 star rate is around 60-70% for fresh hits so at least we're nowhere near there.

I hit the same base with the same setup twice. Your base was the only maxed th11 posted aside from cals one Fc. Once with Favea for 95%, then you switched an inferno to single for a couple of attacks (which requires a completely different build) and then you switch it back to your actually war base for 1 attack where I screwed up the queen walk and missed the 100% by half a second. Cals base is a very well known internet base and would be a super easy three. I just didn’t want to rebuild for it and you guys seemed like you were busy.


We will have to agree to disagree on the number of maxed attempts. We always seem to have around 25-30 attacks on the top 10 bases. Maybe that’s just our matchups. I know you guys don’t let in engineers so it’s probably different for you.

Time will tell. I’d expect that once people get maxed camps and heros you see way more than 25%. Be a nice throw back to days when miner spams used to three all maxed bases.

I’d also bet more people quit the game than join for this patch. Bad news for SC and the community.
