Linking Error (102)

So im trying to link from ipad to PC, When i try to link it comes up error 102, i'm sure that they are on both the same network, i can't change network to try other networks as im using a pc. My ipad is not cellular or whatever either so i can create a hotspot, even though i don't think my pc could connect to that. The ipad is using wireless where as my Pc is using an ethernet cable (wireless), I really need help so it would be much appreciated if someone told me how i can fix this problem.

bump three weeks waiting now and yes a ticket has been logged as well created three weeks ago.

Try to use hotspot vpn in both devices and but it in the same country and the same WiFi

What is your ticket number?

For the link process to work, you need:

* Both devices connected to the same network (WiFi is preferred)
* If one is cellular only - make it a hotspot and tether the wifi one to that

This works for most users, but due to the network structure of some ISPs, with different parts of their network registered in different countries, there may still be a mismatch. If it still doesn't work

* Try an alternate WiFi network: Friend's home, library, a public hotspot, work, etc.

If that still doesn't work, use the in-game reporting and give Support as much detail as possible and they can help with the process.

resolve: make sure your two device login the same COC server, a helpful way is, use thesame DNS(Domain Name Server), and the COC server domain name is gamea.clashofclans.com, which pointed to a lot of servers using Amazon EC2, your device may use one of them depend on the load-balance-system.

you can run a tiny software, like DNSSpeeder, on your computer, and set the two device (both ios and android) to use your computer's IP address as DNS server (or simplely use google public dns, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 if the two device are not linked in the same WIFI), then try.

You are connecting BOTH the iPad and the Cell Phone to the same wireless network right (Not using your cellular data), or putting your cell phone as a hotspot and connecting the iPad to the phone?

Any idea how I can link my devices? I have an iPad which I connect via WiFi at home, and want to link with a desktop computer at my office that is hard wired on a network. Since they are on different networks I get the 102 error. I don't have a way to get my office PC to connect to Wifi & there is no way to connect my iPad to my offices hard wired network. Any options for linking if it is impossible to get both devices on the same network?

I had the same problem about the error 102. The way to fix it is go to FORGET the current network. I repeat: hit FORGET NETWORK and join a new network. If you do not forget the network, it will not work
