Boats and Vouchers?

Just a quick question...

I know that it has been said in the thread about boats that the voucher quality/color is not dependent upon how hard the boat order is to fill.

But... do you get better vouchers for filling more consecutive boats? Or for doing it quickly? Or is it entirely random?

Thanks! I've been wondering if I should be pushing to be super fast or fill them all. I've already got my Captain III so that's not a concern.... but I'm behind on getting vouchers. I made poor decisions early in the game and at level 31 I am just opening my mine. Other people at this level have expanded their land and fishing areas quite a bit....I don't have enough vouchers to make enough lures to make expanding fishing worthwhile.

I don't want to make any more bad choices by sending boats I should be filling!

I think the color of voucher you get from boat is totally random. I sometimes get gold voucher from easy and hard boats. Since you already get your captain III, there's no need fill every boat if you don't want to. I mostly will send away sugar/diary boats. It just take away too much resources. I'm not sure if you get better voucher for filling it quickly. I sent mine away about 5-10 mins after it arrives and I have a lot of green.

If your target is to get more vouchers, truck order is probably the best way to go. Hire Tom for a day and get all the jewelry you need. There's a thread on the forum that list what order give what color voucher.

As far as fishing, you don't need voucher to fish. You can just use the free red lure to fish and get what you need to make fish products. The only time when I use voucher to make lure is when I want to collect all the different fish.

I do want to advice you to expand all your fishing areas before the crab pool and soup kitchen is available to you. You'll need the extra fishing spots for trapping crabs.

With regards to vouchers/lures; The 'free' lure takes soooooo long! :-) I was going to wait to expand fishing because I always have a spot to fish since the lures take so long to make, but I didn't know that about crab.

I'll focus on truck orders now... I'm not sure where to look for the thread on truck orders? I'm trying like heck to build up my money as well, how on earth do players get millions?! I'm selling a lot of high value things on the DD, as that seems to be the most effective.

Selling at RSS at max price is probably best option right now to make coins. I hope they'll have the little people event again. That's when I make the most coins selling it to them. They paid double coins for everything. ;)

Yes we know its random

But its possible to get yellow and purbles vouchers

I only get the green one most the time i complete the boat order

this is unfair we do hard on the boat i have the same vouchers

As said before, there doesnt seem to be a way to influence the colour of a voucher you get from the boat. You can though go for specific metal truck orders as described in the How to get a yellow voucher - thread.

Thanks! I just didn't want to stop a long chain of filling consecutive boats if it was going to result in something good like a gold voucher! :-)

At this point I'm happy to have any vouchers at all, LOL.

You might consider opening up a few more slots in your lure queue and making the red lures at night when you're sleeping, and then not fishing for a day or two to build up your supply, then keep it going. Instead of going over to your lake to fish, go over several times a day just to harvest and make more lures. You'll build up a nice supply in no time. (I have four slots in my queue.) I never run out of lures, and I only use the red ones because I'm saving my vouchers for more pets. You will definitely need to expand your fishing area to its maximum capacity if/when you invest in the lobster pool, but that's very expensive too. Right now I'd focus on selling in the RSS to make the big bucks fast, and filling boat orders to earn vouchers. My daughter and I go back and forth on this - I say the faster you fill a boat, the more chances you have of getting a purple or gold voucher, she says it makes no difference. All I know is when I fill a boat in less than a minute, I tend to get a yellow or purple voucher. Random? Maybe, but that's how it seems to be to me.

Green vouchers are the ones I get the most of, but instead of being frustrated, I know that some of the animals take a lot of green. So I try not to get too vexed when my umpteenth boat in a row (that took me more than 60 seconds to fill) serves up another one. :)
