Can't play after new update?

Been playing this for a month now, and all of a sudden when I go to update I get this bull:
"Your device isn't compatible with this version."

what the hell supercell? Fix this! this is complete bull! I've been using this same device for a month now, there's no way in hell it isn't "compatible".

Using phone LG-MS770 android v. 4.0.4

Downloaded originally from the Google play store.

Edit: A temporary fix for those who simply can't download the update is to follow the steps:
note: may not work for all phones, and if another update occurs you may have to keep using this method to update.
note2: The Google store on the link provided below may say incompatible with device as well; 2 things you can try: 1) uninstall the game completely then refresh the page; 2) click 'installed' anyways and hope it works. 3) root your device and 'cloak' the type of device, can't give you info on how to though, sorry.
1) Firstly hook your phone up to your PC via USB cord.
2) Make sure under settings (some phones may not matter for this step) and check your connectivity type is MTP (media transfer or choose whatever file transfer setting you have)
3) go to the link on your PC (not on your phone): https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...l.clashofclans
4) Click the button that says "Installed" and it should start downloading instantly to your phone, wait for it to download and install.
5) enjoy until the next update at the least.

doing this method if you have your stuff on Google+ just follow the tutorial steps again, then when it lets you click the option button [the cogs on the right-side of the screen] and click the disconnected button on Google+ (or Facebook), when connected it'll ask to overwrite the one on your local (the tutorial one you just started), just click "OK" and it should load up your base (otherwise contact support).

This is how I did it on my LG MS770 (which btw is also known as an LG motion 4G which is apparently "unsupported" which is complete bull, 'cause it works perfectly fine if you can bypass Google's incompatible device ♥♥♥♥.)

Supercell: FIX YOUR ♥♥♥♥, and quit adding devices to your crappy unsupported list which blocks us from downloading on android Google play store.

Yes I'm facing this problem too, and I can't update the game as Google Play Store shown "This apps is incompatible with your device", my hp version is Android 4.0.3

I have connected my game with Facebook only, not with Google+, if i uninstall the game, my village will be lost?

Hi,

I can't search it in Google Play once I had uninstalled the apps. As it is still incompatible with my device.

And already try formatted my phone, still can't search in Google Play.

Hi Marika, thanks for the speedy reply,

I have uninstalled the app, and it does the same as before, which when I go to the google play store, it simply shows "Your device isn't compatible with this version." and does not let me redownload it at all, this is the same way as how I downloaded the game originally so I'm not sure what to do as it just doesn't even let me download it anymore.

Edit: I sent in a ticket to the support team as well from the email you provided (you misspelled android though :P)

I also have a problem with 4.0.3, it loads maybe 3/4 of the update, tries to install and complains about insufficient space (which I have plenty) and stops. No problems whatsoever before the update. Is this Android version still supported?

EDIT: Reistalling just reseted the game, and there was no option to reload the (G+-linked) old base. Waiting for support to react to my email...

EDIT2: After reinstalling I just quickly went throught the intro, and after that was able to reload via g+. I guess it would be more logical if reload was available immediately when the app starts. Anyway, it works and my son is happy. :-)

When the game opens in the loading show download content
But game again restarts and again I see this page and again restart
how i can enter to game
befor this version i can play easy
But now I can't

I have the same problem, usually the game restarts in a few seconds if it starts at all, but sometimes I can play for several minutes before it's restart.
I did not have this problem before the last update.
I play on a HTC sensation

I have been surprised how slow supercell has has been to rectify any of these issues. I have been unsuccessful in contacting them regarding my village being lost since the last upgrade.
I still get messages to my phone when my village is being attacked by others, and my device pops up telling me of clans messages, yet when night go into clash of clans the village is at the very start of game with the tutorial.
So annoying, I spent 100's of $ on this app and now I am literally haunted by this...

like a ghost from restart past...help supercell,
We need our villages back, we paid for them...or refund us...

I have spent money on this game as well, found it quite a fun game and now we get this ♥♥♥♥ going on =\

I still haven't even received a reply from support yet....

come on supercell, fix this already! This is absolutely ridiculous!

I am also getting the same message that my device is not compatible. I love this game and while it is not my main account playing on android, I have still invested a lot of time into the game. I am surprised supercell is not responding to this quicker. Let us know if you are working on it. Will it ever get fixed? Are we out of luck?

We have a player in our clan who is unable to access his account since the update. He is playing on an android tablet. The issues are the same as others in this thread. He has emailed support but with no response from them yet. He also gets the message that his device is not compatible when he tries to download.

Fix this now Supercell!

I have an idea for one of us to create Facebook page to get some, e serious awareness out and support on this from others in this situation and others who do not want to be taken advantage of Supercell in the future, which looks common from online posts.

This player has been able to update clash of clans but has lost his previous base. Now he has to start all over again. Shame on supercell.

My 8yrs old son is very sad not to be able to play Clash of Clans after the last android update. He has fairly new Samsung Galaxy trend phone which he just got when the school started. His heart is now broken because even though the update might be fixed in the future he cannot restore his progress during the past month, because we followed the instructions on this Forum by moderator and removed the game from the apps. We didn't have the progress saved in google+.

my suggestion is that Supercell will fix the update problem urgently in a way that all the current android deviced can play the game still.

Supercell should have better instructions for game players how to save the progress in Google+. If future updates will fail like this one backups are needed.

Supercell should also apologize and in case of financial loss refund all the lost material, because of the failed update.

as I said before, i cant play Clash of Clans after updating to 5.64 version.....I'm using GALAXY NOTE 8....
My friend did something and I understood a strange thing....

One of my friends who did not install this game befor, downloaded the new version (5.64) of clash of clans on his tablet (which is GALAXY NOTE 8 too.. )....and the game was loaded on his tablet and he cloud play.....

i think the problem occure just for who has Updated the game....and not for who that install the game for first time....

some One tell us.....what must we do.....

For those who lost their base on android, you can just link your device again from the Game Center account in your iOS devices.

To keep your account on android you must be linked to google plus. There is no other way. If you lost your account you can contact support to see if they can recover it.

I've figured out a temporary fix to the device incompatible problem, may not work for everyone though unfortunately.
