An Easy, Well-Known but Rarely-Used Trophy Hunting Strategy

Yes, everyone knows about Town Hall sniping. But do many people use it on trophy pushes? No. But let me tell you this, it is possible to reach Master League by picking off unprotected Town Halls, even Town Hall 8's and maybe even 7's can do this. It took me a week of hard playing to go from 1400 trophies all the way up to 2604 trophies, but it was worth it! I lost every single defense but I made sure that I gained more trophies on attacks then I had lost on the last defense so I wouldn't keep going down in trophies. After around 2,200 trophies, unprotected Town Halls become scarce, but they can still be found. The most skips I ever made was about 260 which evens out to around 200k gold for just that single match, so come prepared with a ton of gold to skip bases before you start your push. Only break your shield when you are sure you will have 1 - 2 hours of no interruptions to find an unprotected Town Hall, because once you log off you will lose again on defense and you will have even more trophies to gain back. Unless your base is maxed or close to being maxed then expect every defense to decimate your base. Hope you enjoyed reading, now go get those thousand gems and that sweet badge!

Pure sniping sounds crazy! I couldn't skip 260 bases doing nothing..

I can get it if you do this kind of push for the gems but otherwise how boring way to play the game.

There is challenge in sniping except how much gold you are willing to waste on the effort.

I thought that while trophy hunting resources didn't matter?

If you have to skip 260 bases to use this "strategy" it can hardly be called easy.

More like tedious and annoying.

thanks for sharing your experience. Seems like it may be worth it to get the 1000 gems from the achievement, definitely not as a regular trophy push strategy.

This has been known as a TH3 has made it to crystal and a TH6 to masters...

I did this too however my longest search was roughly 420 skips!! Not fun. It's super tedious, tough, takes a lot of will-power & can be very hard even to snipe exposed town halls due to them being protected by several max defences (or close to max). Worst of all is when it is only possible to lure CC troops once you are close enough to the town hall - made almost impossible when there are 4 max Teslas standing in your way, and thats only half the story as there are usually a bunch of other defences protecting the TH too.

yes this is so true i am currently at th7 and i made it to 2400+ trophies but like everyone else said it takes a while to find an unprotected town hall but its still worth it the whole time i was hoarding the loot bonuses lol

I hope that I can do this... but to get trophies fast, for my LOC push, this doesn't seem viable. 5 days to reach hopefully crystal 1 or master 3.
