You guys have done an outstanding job getting us hyped for "major" releases previously only to be majorly let down. How is this release different from those past updates?
So...no matter what they bring out, it won’t be enough for the vocal minority and their troll accounts. There will be others who are upset because the things they wanted addressed or added were not, and still others who say it isn’t enough because it should have been that way years ago.
Then there will be a decent sized contingent who think it’s pretty cool and are supportive.
Clan Wars was a true game changer in every sense of the word. TH11 was actually pretty awesome in the end. The Builder Base turned out to be great fun and added a whole new element to the game. Each of those updates were released to significant criticism, so I’m sure this one will be too.
But I still bet it will greatly expand and improve the playability of the game. I’m optimistic and looking forward to it, especially with how stoked Darian seems to be about it. (He’s been pretty excited for a while now, based on the Q&As and his posts.)
You missed the removal of TH sniping together with changes to shield/guard. That one got more criticism than any other update I have seen, but in the end, I think most active players are happy it changed.Quote:

I m so glad that I haven t used more gems at BH. It would be so frustrating to have maxed village + walls with a lot of gems and having now 3 months where the builder has nothing to do and the loot is useless and gone forever.
My village is maxed in 12 days and then I have to do the walls from 4/5 to 7 (at least 150 days). So perfect to have all maxed when BH 8 is live in April. And I don t have to use gems. It would be so useless to gem building time now becaue the builder is now idle (except walls) for months.
I would have spent $100 right now to max my village faster if BH 8 would be live before Christmas. I can save money - thanks Supercell. :)
Finally a chance to Max my BB hero and work on my walls. I am not ready for BH8 and I have gemmed a decent amount during the Marathon event.

I don't follow your logic. Getting your three wins a day and being done fits with the game design. I get my three wins, make sure I get in my three boosts, and maybe do a random attack if I'm waiting on main hall troops. I'm comfortably in max loot so I can chill. I could also say that I don't see much main hall pushing based on my clan. For me, pushing past masters puts me in a land of never ending th10s while I am a th9. There is to much unfairness and cheating in the builder base
Most of the hate on the forums comes from the same people or fresh spawn, at least half of which are trolls. The non-troll fresh spawn typically come around when it sinks in the way the game is designed and that others have had the same struggles and prevauiled.Quote:
