To be honest I hope it's not a global event. I'd much rather prefer a personal farm event eg- double coins on truck deliveries or on the boat. Maybe double XP' s on orders ( can't remember if we've had that).
i didn't participate on the B&E , & contributed 12 ( I think) on the pumpkin pie & still got 5 diamonds, which I really wasn't expecting as I didn't even reach my personal goal.:cool:

I'm with you. I would prefer a personal farm event too this time. It needs to be mixed up.
I'm hoping for the boat or truck event. The newspaper event was great when it took almost 30 minutes between postings, but not now. Since I need more purple vouchers to purchase the black horse I'm hoping for double voucher boat orders event.

Free pricing for a few days would really stir up the hay day community. Prices for sugar, cream and other popular items would of course raise but to how much? To avoid that you are stuck with a shop filled with to expensive items it must be free to withdraw it. Tom or Greg are not welcome in the shop during this period. It would be less popular to fill others boats, your farm customers would leave empty-handed and lesser sale at the board. The newspaper would attract more expensive items. More items would be kept in the game and what would happen to the prices then? There are probably a lot of other side-effects too beyond my imagination.
We are due for a truck event next as the boat event was the last personal event. I SO hope they won't go global again. I'll do what I did with the pumpkin pie event and only contribute to the first level so I can track it. NOT going to tie any of my machines up producing one product over and over for a week.
Would LOVE a double voucher event - I'm saving up for more pets and I have a lot to go. 3 more cats, 3 more dogs and 2 more horses. Double vouchers, please!!
I think hamburgers, cornbread, red berry cake or blue sweaters. Those each have just the right level of complexity, low level access, and are all slow movers in the paper.
I enjoy the Global events, but I am CHOMPING AT THE BIT for this new fishing event! I've been stockpiling green a blue lures for a week in preparation.
I'd like to see another personal event, too. The global event has a fun aspect to it, but like Shealie said, it ties up a machine for a week if you continually make the items for the event.
Like a few of you, I would love double vouchers, especially purple as I would like to get a 3rd horse (Palomino) and I'm currently a few purple vouchers shy.
Cheddar, I'm waiting on the new fishing event, too, but have only 2 each of the blue and green lures. I'm such a chicken to spend my vouchers as I still have pets, and maybe a few other decorations, I'd like to get. Though, blue and green are the easier vouchers to get....
I'm ignoring decorations right now, and I only have one horse left to get (a pinto) until I have a full zoo. so I can spend all my Blues and Greens right now knowing it will be about a MONTH before I can get the 9 gold vouchers I need. :pQuote:
