I've been using the v2 ever since yesterday up at 2700 cups. I kept only losing to hogs, and usually at a 3 star price. I don't mind balloons/minions which usually snag a 1 or 2 star but the 3 star would really set me back.

So yeah, I decided to switch and so far, from hogs, I have a +12 and -4 which is excellent to some of the -31 I was receiving. The -4 attack, my heroes + cc were lured and killed, the +12 just my heroes. I am doing some hoboing though (leaving the clan for defence, as some don't think the cc will be full, also leaving tomb stones) and despite 4 level 6 heal spells being used in both attacks, I was surprised at the outcome.

So thank you, your base is now one of the favourites I have ever used and I'll look forward to any changes you make to it in the future. I am also now upgrading my giant bombs to level 3, so it'll be an even better outcome I'd imagine, leaving the hogs with just 25 health next to two wizard towers. :D

Hi Mavios. Almost maxed out TH9 here with 95% skull. I've been rapidly climbing to 2700, and (to my initial surprise) winning quite a lot of defences after 2400. Also vs. Hogs. Sadly, starting 2 days ago, I started losing. A lot. Resulting in a 10-loss streak that´s still running. Something has to change. I'm going to try your base. I'm not expecting miracles. Of those 10 only 5 were hog attacks, with just 1 getting 100%. Still, if this base can at least turn a half-decent hog attack into a win, it would be terrific.

I will keep you posted and upload logs.

Good to hear. Keep us posted, you are approaching the max cups I've tested this base to. I'll be interested to see what is going on up there now as it's been a while since the update and I'm sure people changed their strategies a bit

You are welcome. Notice the giant bomb trap won't be working as good as TH9 version because of the defenses near the giant bombs (the three mortars and cannon) since some hogs will be outside the bomb range. I could be wrong though.

Hey Mavios. Well ive been using this base on my way to masters 2. I'm currently hovering around 2700🏆 and I'm TH9.

This base deals with the hogs outstandingly. However, its the remaining archers/Wizzys/heroes that are dealing out the damage,with few defences remaining, to keep them at bay.

My level defences may be part of the problem, as I still havent maxxed my TH9 defences. But with the majority of attackers being 240 troops spaces im finding the extra troops difficult to defend against.

The base keeps most attacks to around 60% with two storages lost and 1⭐️

Do you get many air attacks there? if not try ground one or both of your xbows see how this helps.. Also your low heroes level means attacker when luring heroes and cc will use up less troops to kill them.

Again, against maxed Th10 troops getting one starred as a TH9 is usually a bad raid for the attacker

I will set both to ground and trial it, as most attacks have been hog orientated. Only one air strike out of ten. I'll report back and let you know.

Hi Mavios, I'm new to TH9 (xbows finish in 24 hours) and am looking for a farming base that does decent against hogs (been using http://i.imgur.com/mYlJkdh.png this base except without XBows as they're still building).

The last 2 days I've been 3 starred twice by some TH10 farmers using a farming comp of 14 level 5 hogs, and the rest regular farming troops. The strategy both times was to break into my base with giants and take care of the CC/heroes, and then spam the hogs, which with heal spells were able to take out all my defenses (all max for a TH8).

Would you recommend using your farming layout? Or perhaps a variant on the anti-hog v2 to take advantage of the double giant bombs?

It's a bit tricky I think. Well may be you can do like I'm currently doing. use the V2 anti-hog base put your TH outside and dark elixir dead in the center. replace the two upgrading xbows with wizard tower. see if that helps

Edit: you can put your upgrading xbows outside beside TH. People will be happy to destroy TH and xbows to get the achievement and not go after your resources
