While the reduction in the loot bonus will reduce the number of TH7s zapping your TH9 DE store, I predict that the switch to elixir fuelled spells will increase the zapping from higher level farmers who don't otherwise use spells and have an excess of elixir.
the answer is simple - keep the lightning spell as the only gold-costing spell while the others switch to elixir.
Even if DE lightning did increase, at least it won't be attached with an absurd loot bonus which will make the tactic less appealing to some. The value of levelling up the DE storage for more HP will be felt a bit more.
And when the spell boost ends it will still take 30m a spell.
So I think overall it won't increase, nor decrease. And when we get hit the loot bonus won't impact us at hall 9 or 10 so much.
Partly right - the loot bonus will be less but the number and level of the spells hitting you from higher level players will increase instead. Time will tell. I think that the one positive aspect is that these people can at least be revenged.
This most likely only happens to farmers.
certainly more so - I know plenty of people who DE farm at Crystal 2/3 so we will see more zapping there than currently, as they don't get the TH7s
I was zapped by a preemie TH9 on revenge at TH7. People don't do it for the loot bonus. They do it because they cant raid properly and with spells costing elixir, which is worthless below Crystal II, zaps will surely increase.
Loot bonus reduction won't help. TH8s zap my storage whenever I get more than 20k DE.
Maybe they should just reduce the health of DE storages again. Let the zappers run free...
Not to sure i think it will stay the same as if someone wants to zap my de they will always use all of them but only time will tell
