I’m a TH11 that uses lavaloon. My balloons are maxed, as are my lava hounds and the spells I use when attacking. My Grand Warden is also maxed, as are my barbarians, healers, and Dragons. Because of this I don’t really “need” anything in the lab at the moment, so I’m wondering what I should upgrade.
I am thinking I’ll either max my miners (currently at Level 2) or work on the spells I don’t currently use (heal, Freeze, clone). What do you guys think?

I was practically in the same boat and went with the miner route first. Upgrading to lv5 now, so can't give opinions on them yet. Clone could be a good investment, as it seems to be working well with laloon. Otherwise I'll just go with the option that opens up to another strategy you might want to use later on.

Miners for sure. heal/freeze you can just ask for the spell that you don't have maxed out if you ever use them. Clone is really, really nice with laloon but it's mostly for those high risk 3* attacks that you don't necessarily want to do in wars unless you actually need it. I would say miners is good because they're great for funnels and things like that. Commonly used up here.
Are your BK/AQ maxed? If no go ahead and upgrade Miners. Great DE farm troop.
I'd go clone and unlock that cloned laloon and have yet another variety of it.
Then, miners
