I'm th8 player...army camp 200...all troops unlocked...healer,wiz,giants, healing spell,barbarian maxed....minion level 3 and king level 7...rest all are just th7 maxed and new th8 troops aren't upgraded....tell me a good pushing strategy which will provide more loot than it costs.:thumbsup::smirk::)

Pick on bases that offer high cups for relative easy attacks. Next until you find a base that has decent cup offerings AND loot. Don’t over extend on attacks (for example a max town hall 8 that offers 14 cups and good loot but all in storages). Why attack a base like that when you can pick on a weaker base that is just a few (or 10) nexts away for 29 cups, weak walls, and loot in collectors as well as storages. Base selection in farming is crucial to make a good net gain by the end of the session.
Keys to winning cups and/or gaining good loot
*Always check pull and kill cc. Don’t ignore it
*Take barbs archers goblins and giants as they all work together and have their place.
* 3 heal spells + poison (use heal on giants only most times, use poison for enemy cc)
* Create a funnel always. Look for shortest path to TH. if you don’t know how to funnel YouTube it.
*Drop heal spells in front of where troops are heading next. Don’t waste the spell by centering it on the troops head
*Look for bases with defenses offline (especially mortars/wizard towers
*Gem barracks, hero and spell factory always if you can
*be wary of time when attacking - can cost you half the loot
*Ask for giants in your cc, preferably high lvl
*dont use haste spell use poison
*Queue up army in barracks with the saved army function. 1 button will then make your army
*Raids per hour is often most important for farming (maybe not for trophy pushing) so bang out those attacks
*always bring wallbreakers (even though they are expensive)
*quit raid as soon as you have all loot and know you can get 3 stars. 2star 51% is same as 2star 88% in terms of cups.
*dont worry about loot bonus. Ignore that unless in a really good league

You want to push and get elixer at the same time? I suggest with ~70 archers, 50 barbarians, ~8 giants ~16 minions, 3-4 wall breakers. Bring 2 rage and 1 heal. Attack bases with full collectors and gold mines. I scatter giants around the base to tank for the barch, or you could just do a normal spam in one place attack. You can get tons of loot and a 1 Star every battle.
