What is the current meta at th9 in terms of attack and defence?
IMO,
Large compartment bases with exposed/semi exposed ADs in groups of 2 in defence. And quite a few outside defences.
And witches and loons in attack.
Are others also noticing the same trend?
LAVALOONION seems to be pretty powerful right now, although my attacks with it vary. Sometimes I destroy a maxed th9 base with it, sometimes I 1 star a maxed th9 base with it. Guess base layout is a large factor.
I've seen some people do queen walk combined with LAVALOONION; that seems to be working great! Only reason I don't use it yet is because queen level is too low.
edit: yes witches are also pretty OP right now

WitchSlap and QW Laloon seem to be the current TH9 Meta.
Don't ignore gohog with cc bowlers either. Lots of options at th9, but witchslap might be the strongest. Its really good for reaching up a bit - 9 vs 9.5.
