So I'm a TH10 that's been out of the game for quite some months, last time I played was before the builder bases. I forgot I left my base in good condition so I'm ready to jump back in but I was looking if anyone could help guide me into everything I missed, I don't feel like watching a billion YouTube videos.
Mainly what I missed troop wise, with builder base, what I should be doing, and what attacks for war are still prevelent?
Builder Base strategy is easy in the early stages. Don't worry about that yet.
As for war attacks, I'm not really sure. I think the hybrid ground/air attacks are still popular.
Sorry to say this but there been lots of changes with sc ai meta data of how troops behave / react...and imo...not all for the good....
Valks will ignore over the wall structures and run 1/2 way across a field to attack an open structure..
Bowlers and aq tend to ignore jumpspell even if it is infront of them...
Aq tends to walk around a base..unless funnel is 15 to 18 tiles out from Center..yes huge troop commitment for creating funnel
Jump radius seems to have been reduced ...so watch the jump span over walls..
Skelton spell will not draw out cc troops..
Check out youtube for rule of 3 and rule of 5.... think i heard sc is back to rule of 3 but unsure....
Lots of troops were nerfed (reduced in speed and attack damage]
Defense were buffed... increased in defense damage....
Eagle does 3 x damage to golem....in short golems dont last long
Best advice...... take troops of each group... and practice with them in raids. So you get the feel of that they will do.... they are not the same troops when you left... these new troops are dumber than dirt...
Wall breakers will scatter not attacking same wall...
Golem will move out of postion to go after open defense 1/2 way across the outside ofva base
Bowlers will split and divide, even if in same group... bowlers from same group will not attack same target... so attack structures others attack wall
Dragon spash damage reduced ...and seem to move slower...
Loons seem to ignore air defense structure..fly by or over them..
So lots of frustration to over come....
Builder base...aka bb. ....i take as yeah it there... i do not, did not invest alot of time to it.. you either win or lose... no real strategy since game ai is lacking intelligence
Giant walk aound to any open area in base with defense structure ... achers will attack structures in areas you placed them... so as giants walk off archers become toast...and your allowed 3 wins and then the manditory break.... fyi... if your used to losing attacks bb is your game... i lost 25 attack before 1 win...
