So because of the event coming up i have this urge to do 48 balloons and 11 haste as it would be pretty much free (hopefully).
I would just need the loot bonus to make it profitable (currently 2600 trophies).
So, would this give me at least 50%?
Queen is 45
Warden is 17
King is 31.
I'm a fan of balloons and basically want to use as many as possible.

The worry is more that it won’t get you as much loot per raid as you could have gotten, with no clean up troops besides the king and queen. Maybe those little cheap minions could join your loon party? Either way, watch out for flying into a headwind.
replace some loons with some minions for easier clean-up.
A cc dragon or wizards will make it a sad sad day for those balloons.
Don't do that. You gotta have a way to deal with the enemy cc and aq.
I agree... you might grab 50% but it’ll be risky and loot (if you care) will be tough to gather. I’d personally go with a couple hounds and 10-15 minions. But any air-tank + minions will help.

I like to use 38 balloons and 25 minions, it is at least a 50%, even in legend league.
Im going to go with 40 Loons and some Goblins and Minions for clean up (probably even housing distribution so 20 Goblins and 10 Minions). probably 7 Haste and 2 Freeze with a couple Poisons in the CC in case of pesky Dragons or Babies in the rival CC's, was considering taking all 48 and requesting Minions, but Im not sure quite yet..
At any rate these Loon and Witch events are by far my favorite!
better set those X-Bows to Air and ITs to Multi and position those Sweepers well!

2 Lava's, 32 Loons, 10 Minions, 2 Rage and 7 Haste - Poison in cc - 80,400 elixer and 1183 dark. Easy profit and much more likely to get 1/2/3 stars.

They would be demolished by air defenses with nothing tanking for them. Also, they wont even finish taking down defenses, which equals no loot. I have used all loons in like th4 or 5, and it ended poorly because they are the slowest troop in the game, and target defenses first, so a 3-star is nearly impossible against a base that has builder huts in the corner.
Use one or two lava hounds (You have warden so you are th11?) and also add minions to sweep stuff up and especially those cornered builder huts. using 11 hastes is...ok. Maybe clone, rage...?
