Question about trades - how to avoid accidental raiding?

So since finding this forum and getting new friends from here I'm now a bit paranoid about buying expansion items from roadside shops in case they were in the middle of a trade. How would I spot a trade item? If something up for say 200 coins is that safe? Don't want to annoy anyone by accident.

Most trades are done by the last slot, so if u see 1 wheat at 1 gold, its most likely a trade so leave it alone.

Ok thanks - so would the product be sold in the last slot as well as the wheat "flag"?

Yes almost always trades are in last slot. If you see for example 10 tapes at default price or 1 coin in the last slot I would beware. It's most likely a trade. Sometimes players even have their farm names last slot trades only or similar. I have a a speedy finger who has had to scramble to return trades. Ugh! I don't check prices so if the shop is mostly full accidents happen.

I am a trader, but I absolutely know that anything in my shop and in anyone else's is for sale. It is part of the risk of trading, that your "trade" will be purchased by someone else. It happens. You won't hear me complaining about it. Trading is "unofficial" and not supported by Supercell and I am fine with that.

Funny, but just today I spotted a farm name in the DD - "SO AND SO I WANT MY BOLTS BACK" - enough said. lol.

Take what I say with a grain of salt BUT anything in your shop is subject to the finders keepers rule. If I see a trader in the DD not from the forums I have no qualms about taking it:/ after all it is only a game and what is the object of a game? To win. So Ill take what I can get. NOTE: I would never sabotage a trade from a friend I respect them enough not to:)

Part of a good trade is the fact that you do NOT advertise is the DD so as to avoid flybys. Or flybuys. Har. :p
