Can anyone please help me out as to how legend players use this troop combo?

So I was checking out the top players army composition and i saw that most of them use this particular troop combo: 16 bowlers, 2 barbarians, 11 wbs, 1 baby dragon, 10 valks and 1 golem. Spells: 4 eq, 1 jump and 2 rage. In cc: 1 golem and 1 giant (not sure) and a rage spell. I'm keen to know as to what strategy they might be using, me being a legend player myself and relying on bowler healer combo most of the times. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Bowlers and rest to turn around the firsts 2 rings, EQ and valks to snipe the TH.

What about the baby dragons and heroes? Do they deploy heroes first with bowlers? Or later with valks?

Baby dragon is usually to set one edge of a funnel. At least that's how I use it.

Heroes might depend on the base how you deploy them but typically they's go earlier than your delayed valk release if that's the goal.

Let's say also it's not a specific army against a base. But it's diversified enough to get 2* against almost every base because you can deploy troops differents ways. Sometimes valks could also be used only to clear the outside ring of a base. but what we told above is the most "classic" way to use this army.

Correct. It's a very diverse troop comp that can be deployed different ways, depending on the base that pops up, And way up in Legends- you don;t have the luxury to next. So you have to have a comp ready for what the game gives you.

Cnaf nailed it here. Although lately I've been finding that clouds have been unusually light in lower legends (around 5300), if you do hit next it would be because of a low cup offer... you would almost never next a high cup offer because of base layout. Having a diverse army like this is beneficial and also gives great practice for war attacks where the bowler/healer attack won't cut it for a lot of bases.

The biggest surprise is the use of the quakes. I'm hit by quake all the time but rarely use it myself.

I'm still saving DE so prefer to use a different comp to those that can splash the de around.

So if you're looking for a viable comp for pushing purposes in legends then I would suggest drag loon: 7 drags, 12 loons, hound, 5 wb, 1 clone and rest rages with extra drag and loons in cc.

I cannot remember the last time I failed with the above comp. There is a very good chance of 2 stars and possible 3 on pretty much any max TH 11 base which means it matters not which base you come up against.

For 2 stars (and potential 3) the key is dropping the clone spell on loons to drive them to core where you can rage and tomb.

It is elixir heavy, but with legend bonus, star bonus and the ridiculous loot from bases in legends, it is more than viable.

That's actually very close to what I use in war. Typically 1 Hound, 2 Baby Dragons for the funnel, 7 Dragons and a bunch of loons. If I leave the Dragons out of it I'll adjust and bring 5 Wallbreakers because I simply don't trust the comp to reliably take the TH without them. Need the King and Queen for that.

I actually love Zapquake. Half the time even two. Really depends on the base of course.

damn. 4 earthquakes and a jump spell too? I don't use that compo but I have a feeling that strategy is designed to get you a safe 2-star, but you won't ever land a 3-star. I think i would stick with bowler healer combo. I guess the attack goes like golem, bowlers and heros clear out pathing to the core and send valks to the core.

to be honest, I'm using more and more 4 EQ and 1 jump to prevent the bowlers to turn around. I used only 1 or 2 jump before, but noticied the bowlers got more and more stupid. So I tried with EQ in the core and a jump from outside. works very fine. Even better with Witches/Bowlers armies.

This. I saw a lot less bowler-valk attacks in high legend this last week or so before the AI revert.

Drag-loon-clone spam is a lovely safe option.
Very hard to lose, gets the 2 vast majority of the time.

Have stayed just shy of full on elixir throughout, despite the insane 650+k army cost.

Too Much Knowledge on One Thread.. Well i am still fresh th10 and masters 1 at present...
its gonna be a long run before i enter legend i guess :p
