No. Why would I?

This bug is definantally in hay day. I re loaded the game to test it, and it effects:

crops
bakery (probably other machines)
5 minute wait for a new advertisement in the newspaper

i haven't tried visiting other farms, or anything besides re loading the game, but this bug is in hay day, which makes me think it's intentional. In fact, I think the lag was 6 or 7 seconds. It might have just been me, but the lag was around 6 seconds.

If it indeed present in hay day that makes me believe that bug is part of some fundamental piece of the foundation shared between the games. This implies to me that it may not be a simple fix.

I can confirm the bug being on HD, and some have noticed it being in the new game as well Boom Beach or whatever...

It's quite likely, that they used the same core engine for all the games. Fixing it in one would allow them to fix them all. Course it's 3x the work to fix it in 3 games, but it could have been avoided by doing it proper to begin with. And it's 3x the possibility to cash it in, so again, why bother fixing it in the first place?

Perhaps there in lies the problem. Maybe they can't fix it for one without breaking another.

Regardless of it being intentional, or them not being able to fix it, were this to be a bug...they could easily hotfix it, or compensate players for it.

I'm sure this could span all 3 games too.

If this is not intentional, maybe this is why-

currently, when you upgrade something it starts a countdown timer it supercell's computers. When you do something like re load the game, it interferes with the countdown, and adds time. To fix it, they could have a clock in their computers, and instead of saying "this will upgrade in 10 days", it would say something like "this will upgrade at 2:15, june 5."

Idk if it would work. I am not an expert game maker, but I thought of it, and decided to post it.

I don't think quitting the game is necessary if one believes the company is crooked. Especially considering most people who discover this bug are already highly invested in the game with their time and maybe money too. I believe the proper response would be to just stop spending money on the game altogether. After all, anyone who plays the game without spending money is actually costing Supercell a marginal amount of money due to overhead costs. In the unethical restaurant example, this would be equivalent to going there, eating the complimentary bread and water, and leaving.

If it doesn't affect shields its an easy fix they just have to give in and stop stealing people's money. Oh no they may only make 2.2 million dollars a day instead of 2.4 million 😱
tbh it's probably a lot lot more than that now that android users are spamming gems to catch up
